Adam and his family run a very good business here. They pride themselves on customer service and always are happy to see everyone who walks through their doors. If you can’t find what you need, just ask and they will happily direct you to where you need to go, and if they don’t have it and they can get it, they will. Deceiving looking from the outside, it holds a massive selection of all liquors, and wines from all over, even hard to find Lebanese ones are in the catalog here. They have beverage tastings frequently so you’ll never know what you’ll come across when you walk in on a Friday or Saturday evening. and speaking of which, on July 1st Geno Auriemma will be there promoting his wines. don’t miss it!

This is my ultimate go-to place when I need booze. I can get most anything for a simliar price closer to home, but they carry some odd wines that I will NEVER find anywhere else. I just wish Laphroig bottled a ½ pint… been looking, and if its not here, it doesnt exist. The prices are pretty competitive, look at the display when you come in the door, that stuff, though CHEAP is GOOD! The owner is a wine lover and will never steer you wrong. I find oddball stuff that makes the cashier and I go «good choice kind Sir» «oh yes, quite right» and clink monacles!

if you like domestic beers you can buy at the grocery store, this place is for you… OK i guess they did have a small section of micro/craft/import stuff and some weird stuff(i think they had isreali beer? and maybe albanian?). the liquor/wine stuff i know nothing about so if you are looking for that, check it out and who knows maybe it OK.

I stopped in this store because I was headed to Singo Sushi which is a BYOB. I love an italian white wine with my sushi, but it is a hard find. I took a chance stopping here, but really liked this place! The selection is good, the wines are plentiful, and the staff very helpful. They don’t let you just wander aimlessly especially when you are looking for something in particular. I didn’t really roam around the beer section, so I can’t comment to that, but the wine section as I said is pretty good. The price for this particular bottle of wine that I wanted was a couple of dollars cheaper than the place I usually find it at in North Haven.

This area used to be a one-horse town when it came to a liquor store with a good wine selection(top of the hill of Southington mountain); until Liquor Super Store came around and thank goodness they did. The service and assistance here at Liquor Super Store is far superior to that of the nearest competitor and the selection is outstanding as well. I am a fan of Chilean Cabernet’s and they have many to choose from. Also on the racks are wines from Israel, Argentina and Portugal. Price points are on the lower side of the scale in comparison to other local stores like Mountain Top. In regards to beer, they have many varieties of local beers and other smaller batch breweries as well. One of my favorites, Naughty Nurse from City Steam Brewery, can be found here. You can find a lot of really good deals here if you spend some time and dig deep in the wine racks. The owner is usually on premises and always willing to help. You can also buy select wines and liquor online from their website too.
