The cashier at this store was so incredibly rude, I was shocked. She glared at me as she rang me up, didn’t tell me my total, I handed her a ten dollar bill and she glared at me some more. Then drops my change in my hand and glared at me until the next customer stepped up. I have never felt like an employee where I was shopping was trying to intimidate me, it was a very uncomfortable experience and customers in line ahead of me had the same impression. I got no bag, no reciept and no customer service. That was horrible, even though the store had everything I needed, I will never go back, that went beyond bad customer service, that bratty little thug doesn’t need to work with the public.

I like this place but they have some new cashiers & they are not very friendly with the public. I guess I’ll try some other store in town. Hope the owners of the bait barn will get some more friendly & customer oriented cashiers soon.

Pleasant people and good prices go a long way toward loyalty. I happened to be in town because I was meeting a friend who wanted to ride at the skate park. I was low on fuel and he was running late, and Bait Barn showed up on Gas Buddy. It didn’t show up as Gas and Service Stations because it was only categorized as Shopping. I tried to add Convenience Store and Gas and Service Stations but those behind Unilocal’s data changed everything to Outdoor Gear. In any case, they had diesel fuel and that’s a winner in itself. The price was good, and close to great – cheaper than most places. After I filled the tank, the receipt wasn’t printed and the message told me to see the cashier. I entered and asked about the receipt, but the one cash register was occupied, and I asked if they had a rest room. They had one(you need the key), and it was clean. After returning, I ended up getting a 32 ounce fountain Mountain Dew. They printed the receipt, rang up the drink for $ 1.00 even, and they were so friendly.
