This was our first stay at a KOA. This is a somewhat new park so no shade. We had a great back in spot — B7 — close to restroom for $ 40 a night. Cable was acceptable with about 40 basic stations. Site relatively level. Restrooms were beautiful and hardly used by full hookup RVs. Beach is very shallow and is somewhat seaweedy — but they comb the sand. Nice trail that goes around lake(read large pond). No pool. Camp store well stocked. Canoes, paddle bikes for rent. Fishing.

Stayed in a Deluxe Cabin. It was great. Beautiful facility. We showed up VERY late(oops) and the staff went out of their way to help us.

Visited Lost Island KOA this last weekend. Campground was nice. Ground is very uneven so watch your step especially when walking through the grassy areas. If your in a downhill site water will run through your camp site. We had a trench running through our firepit. We used the dog park and this was a nice perk. Beach was nice but it was too cold and rainy to get in the water. Nice shower house but needed to be cleaned. I don’t know what other KOA campgrounds charge but it was a little expensive compared to the County and State parks in the area.
