Tons of food for a fair price. Had the delicious Pork Tenderloin special. My colleagues enjoyed their Filet mignons very much. Great service. They made us feel special eating there, even on a random weeknight. They provide a Relish Tray with each meal, which was interesting to experience, for someone who is visiting from South Carolina, who had never seen one before.

This is my family’s favorite Friday fish fry in the area. Children are charged by age($ 0.85/yr I believe). Be ready to wait an hour or so for a table. We bring card games to entertain ourselves and the kids while we wait. Well worth the wait for all u can eat fish and chicken with all the sides!

Came back to the area for a class reunion and was longing for a Fish fry. Elias Inn did not disappoint. They have a good selection of local craft beers. The fish and chicken were lightly breaded, moist and tender. The side dishes were delicious and also served family style so no one left hungry. A stand out was the asian style cole slaw. Next time I come back to visit family, this place will be on the top of my list.

The food was so good. We found this place by accident on a shopping trip to Johnson Creek. Started out with a wonderful relish tray followed by soup and salad. The main course was fabulous. The prime rib was so delicious. Will definitely make a return trip.

I have never eaten at a Supper Club. A coworker recommended this place. The ambiance is old town vintage supper club. The employees were very helpful in answering our questions. The relish tray was to DIEFOR. So many good things on that tray — several different spreads for our bread, pickled herring, bread & butter pickles, and more. It is so delicious and there is so much that one could easily make a meal out of it. The best thing was I ordered a half carafe of wine and it was equivalent to three glasses of wine! And, the wine was incredibly reasonably priced! We had a big party of people. The food came out to all of us at the same time. The food was fantastic. I can’t say enough about this place and can’t wait to come back.

When I come up to Wisconsin for work, I can assure you that one place I will go to is the Elias Inn. I’ve been coming to this restaurant through the years, and I must say this place still makes one of the best prime ribs! This past Tuesday, sure enough, I went with a few of my co-workers to Elias Inn. What can I say about this place… well, the restaurant still looks like someone’s house. It is located in downtown Watertown, and when you walk into the establishment, it looks like you are entering mom’s house. The restaurant consist of just two rooms — the smaller room is the bar area, and the larger room is the dining area. I must say, the Elias Inn serves up very GENEROUS portions of food over here! When I had dined here, I ordered the prime rib, and it came with a cheese broccoli soup & salad. Also with my meal, they provide you with complimentary bread & crackers, and a small spread of side dishes on a «Lazy Susie». For you folks that don’t know what a lazy Susie is… basically, it’s my friend Susie, who is lazy.(Nah! j/k) It is a small circular table that spins, and the small side dishes sit on top of the small circular table. I kinda wanna say it’s similar like when you go to a Chinese restaurant, and when you sit at a large table that seats at least 10 people, you will notice a round circular table in the center. That’s a lazy Susie. What can I say about the food here — 1. The prime rib was Outstanding! The meat is top grade USDA, and the prime rib was made perfectly! It was so soft & juicy; I could have probably cut my prime rib with my fork. That’s how soft & good it was! The meal also came with a starch, I ended up getting a red skin mash potatoes… I only had a little of this, as it was quite rich, as it was loaded with butter. 2. The cheese broccoli soup so very rich & tasty. I only had a little bit of the soup, not because it did not taste good, but it was so rich, and I wanted to make sure I didn’t spoil my dinner. 3. The salad was like any other side salad, nothing spectacular about it, but I didn’t come here to eat salad. 4. The complimentary bread, crackers, & sides. Elias’ provide a spread of different types of bread; I liked the garlic bread the most. I did not eat any of the crackers. On the lazy Susie, were different types of pâté, as well as a few cut vegetables, cheeses, tuna salad, & pasta salad. I tried most of the items, but I was not sure what I was eating as far as the pâté. Overall, another wonderful meal. The food prices are so reasonable here, as my prime rib dinner was just $ 23.99(not including taxes & tip). Rest a sure, I will be back again at Elias Inn when I have to go to Wisconsin for work.

This place is a great place to meet up with someone and have a couple drink and enjoy a very delicious meal. The atmosphere is great and the service is impeccable. Everyone was very friendly and helping. We had a few drinks at the bar to start off and the bartender was great. Everyone was social and it was a great time. We had the prime rib and the fish fry. The food was superb and couldn’t be any better. I’m from Chicago and I would have to say that this place blow many places out of the water bar far. We were both glad that we chose this place. If you have a chance to stop by I would really recommend you to. Tip: Getting a reservation was a good idea but they don’t do reservations on Friday, just Saturday and Sunday.

Great Friday night fish fry. They had the best German potato salad I had ever had. The wait was a bit long 1hour 20 minutes, but they have a bar so it was okay. I would stop for dinner again, but I would try to get there a little earlier.

By far my favorite Friday night fish fry in the area. Plan on a long wait as seating is limited with no reservations on Fridays. A good old fashioned all-you-can-eat fish fry is served with fried chicken and seasoned fries along with a lazy Susan of assorted salads and such. A fish fry only menu on Fridays, but full menu other nights. I have never been disappointed with the prime rib on a Saturday either. Tender and falls apart with a lazy susan of German oriented sides to accompany. Well worth the wait and trip to check it out.

Found ourselves in Watertown on a Saturday night. Checked Unilocal for some ideas. This place turned out to be a great find. Cozy Wisconsin Supper Club with charm and really great food. Friendly terrific service. Food was prepared perfectly and came with all kinds of courses. The relish tray which is a Wisconsin tradition that I had never experienced. It was a bit odd, but fun and tasty.

A warm«rathskeller» with thick beams and high ceilings. Inexpensive cocktails are drunk in the bar under the gaze of large, mounted game animals. Unfortunately, I was unable to change our dinner party to Friday to sample their much praised fish fry. I enjoyed instead the stuffed shrimp swimming in butter. The crab meat was not at all fishy. The beef soup was tasty and only a bit salty. My dinner companions raved about the tenderness of their very thick prime rib–«you could could cut it with a butter knife.» Our server was friendly, without being intrusive –very professional and efficient. Like many supper clubs in Wisconsin, the appetizers are slighted in favor of the entrees– buns and fries out of a bag, grocery-store-quality dips with cold raw veggies in midwinter, iceberg lettuce and one lonely piece of garlic bread. That withstanding, it is a «gemuetlich» place to take carnivores on a Saturday night in Watertown.

We decided to try Elias after a relative recommended it. We got there around 7 and were told it would be a 40 minute wait. They do not take reservations on Fridays. A half an hour later we were seated. They don’t serve off the menu on Fridays, instead it is a family style fish fry with baked fish, deep fried fish and chicken. Also fries, American and German potato salad, Asian slaw, baked beans and rye bread. Our waitress, Leanna, was right on top of things and was happy to answer our questions. Food came out five minutes after we ordered and was well worth the $ 13.50 per person. We had a chance to look at their normal menu while we were waiting to be seated and are planning on going back a different night.

My son and I love this place. And anyone else we invite. Nice Micro Brews on tap, always a plus. We get there early for a beer before the rush(4:45) or late(after 6:45). Love Friday night fish fries but the other night are nice a quiet with great menu.

Our party of four really enjoyed our Wisconsin supper club experience here. We all ordered something different, and all our entrees were good –and we loved the relish tray! Not just your boring carrots and celery– there was something special for everyone. The wait staff was attentive, helpful and friendly. If you’re looking for sleek décor or trendy looks, well a supper club just isn’t for you– they’re steeped in a mix of ageless unexplainable combination of design all blended into a comfortable surrounding. We arrived on a Saturday evening just before seating started so we had a drink in the lounge area. Once again the staff was pleasant and very welcoming. Looking forward to stopping by next time we’re in Watertown.

I am a returning customer at Elias Inn Supper Club. Have had the Fish Fry many times. I’m not a big baked beans person, but the cole slaw, german potatoe salad, and regular potatoe salads are great! I want to say the Fried chicken is Broasted, and there baked and fried cod, and then awesome french fries. I highly recommend this place. Now, if you are a fan of Sauteed Rainbow Trout? On other nights they have this on the menu and it is Mouth Watering! Yummilicious!

This is hands-down my favorite fish fry. There are no reservations and the dining room is small but it is worth every second. Also, I don’t mind having a few beverages at the bar courtesy of Slim. Start out with a relish tray with a variety of potato salad, slaw and baked beans. Then let the games begin! Fish baked and fried, fried chicken and french fries by the plateful with drawn butter, tarter sauce and lemon wedges. Nuff said. An hour later when I can literally eat no more, I am carted out in a wheelbarrow with a glazed look on my face. I grew up in the area but now live in Atlanta and this is an absolute must when I am back in town. In fact, I am ashamed to say I have actually flown in earlier/flown out later to accommodate a Friday trip. I admit it, I have a problem and am powerless against this fish fry.

I always invisioned this place as some kind of time warp that would take you back to 19th Century Germany for some reason. Must be the building’s design… Anyway, I went here as part of a family reunion and fulfilled a dream of trying it out. The food was delicious and the service was prompt and professional, at least from my standpoint. My only wish is that more of these places existed west of the Mississippi.

No reservations on Friday Fish Fry and a one hour wait for a table of two. I’ll go somewhere more accommodating and not trying to game me into spending $ 20 at the bar before I sit down at my table.

A Watertown native and yet this was the first time I ever stepped foot inside the Elias Inn. I always had a an image of it being a dark, super smokey eatery. Not at all my style, but now that WI is smoke-free, we decided to try it out on a fish fry Friday night. There were 8 of us in our party, including two kids(2yrs and in a high chair – and 6yrs). As an FYI, they do not take reservations on Friday nights. Go figure. Word to the wise, the wait can get long. One member of our party got there around 5:00 to get our name on the list and it was already a 20 min. wait. We were able to get a table near the bar area while we waited, but it was getting packed to the gills fast. I think some younger kids might be entertained by the taxidermy décor(as my 2 year old was). Of course, some might find it scary and unpleasant(more like how I felt!). There are 13 tables in the dining room, so you can see why the wait can be looong. On Friday nights there is no stress in figuring out what you’re going to eat because there is no deciding on your part. There is absolutely no odering off the menu, which was quite disheartening to the more finicky 6 year old. The menu consists of the relish tray, which on Friday includes baked beans(yum!), coleslaw, German potato salad, and one or two other things I can’t recall. There is white and rye bread to pass around, as well. The main entrees are the fried chicken, which was delcious(and I’m not a big meat fan), and then the two different fish options – baked and fried. I hear the fish was pretty good, but that’s only second hand as I’m not a fishy person). Lastly seasoned fries to round out the meal(tasty!). The wait staff was fantastic. Amy F. was particularly awesome and super personable(seemed to care that we were happy and satisified customers – how nice is that?!). I would ask for her if you can. Even though they were super busy she had it down to a science. We never had to wait or get antsy wondering if our waitress was going to remember that our table existed. We had refills of all items as soon as we started to run low. Some people also ordered the house red wine and they thoroughly enjoyed it. I would like to go back on a non-fish fry Friday to see what the rest of the menu is like. As another FYI – they are closed Sundays and Mondays. Can’t give it a 5 b/c of the potential for a long wait(with no Friday reservations) and given that I would like to see what the rest of the menu looks like first. However, I would definitely go back and do recommend it!

There were 13 of us from out of town on a project. Everyone I could ask said they were happy with the restaurant. We ate at several restaurants in nearby towns and this is the only one that left a good impression with me. Great servers and very friendly, delicious food served in multiple courses with fun style; what more can you ask for? If you want to pay twice as much for only a slightly better meal, then I would say you pallet is too discerning and your wallet limitless. I am already planning a trip back to Elias to bring my family along. Not to mention, some of the people I was with thought the sauteed or baked shrimp dishes were awesome.
