The Hardy Spa doesn’t look like much from the outside. It also doesn’t look like much from the inside. What it lacks in looks it definitely makes up for in character, personality and a damn fine beer and wine selection. You can be sure that the Hardy Spa is open every day of the week, even during the middle of blizzard when you need your beer and wine the most. Don’t be turned off by the employees behind the counter who are constantly watching TV, as they are some of the nicest people you will meet. They are always willing to help you find what you need or just bring you up to speed on whatever NBC sitcom they may be watching at the time. Stop by the Spa if you are in the area and you need some beer and wine for a reasonable price.

Well I’ve never seen the«spa» side of this place… honestly I couldn’t tell you if one exists. It’s a local liquor store /video rental store. Yup, VIDEO! rental… actual VHS tapes, along with some DVDs. They have a pretty basic beer and wine selection at average prices. The big plus for me is that it’s located right down the street from my house. So if I ever need a 6-pack quick, this is the stop I’m going to be making.

Great local neighborhood beer and wine & snack store. Everyone is very friendly and low key. Located near Cushing Sq. on the Watertown/Belmont line. Open 7 days a week, and open until 8pm on Sunday when everyone else is closed and you have last minute guests. Large variety of beers, tons of wine at all price levels and wonderful selection. They carry«90+» wines, my current favorite. In the summer they have ice and ice cream for the kids. My dog loves the«treats». The wine and beer is the COLDEST in town. No joke! For frequent customers they take special requests for beer or wine if they do not have it in stock. As stated earlier, they rent dvd’s and also sell commercial moving boxes. They are always willing to give you empty beer boxes to store stuff too!

A quick convenient place to pick up some beers, soda or wine. The beer prices are run of the mill and selection is like that of a convenience store that sells beer. Same could be said for the wine but it is a little pricy for the product in some instances. I swing by here for singles all the time and a six pack if I don’t feel like driving out of my way. Overall a nice place with friendly staff.

Hardy Spa is a small business on the Watertown/Belmont line that sells beer, wine, and rents movies(funny combination, I know). They have very helpful staff that are some of the friendliest people working at these type of stores. Tony is a great guy, and is always willing to chat up on a recent Boston sports game. The only downside to Hardy Spa is it doesn’t sell hard liquor, oh well.
