I don’t understand all the reviews saying staff are rude. That has not been my experience at all. Perhaps because I am female? In any case, although not overly friendly, the staff are polite to me and provide assistance when I need it. The prices are very reasonable.

Terrible. Nothing in order, hard ciders mixed throughout the coolers, no theme by area. Hard liquor though generally in order the rum in the middle of the gin makes no sense. Upon entry, no hello from the cashier, and I was the only customer. As the other employee pushed past me to get to the back room, no excuse me, no can I help you find something. Would have bought a bottle of chartruse had the experience been better. Yes it might be a top shelf, but out of reach of me a 6 plus foot man… A bit insane, wasn’t gonna ask for assistance. Thanks for stocking it, won’t be buying anything from you…

I don’t hate on the place. I can agree with a lot of what people write here but if I am being honest, like another reviewer said I am there to buy beer and leave. As for the people complaining about the parking lot, park in the back, walk 30 feet, then pull out onto Waverly. I first went to the store in January 2011. I said that was it, this placed sucked. I tried it again in November and was surprised. The selection is not that great, I don’t buy liquor or wine so I cannot comment on that selection. Though if your looking your average bud, coors, miller, the prices are probably the best in town.

This place is the most convenient for me to stop in after work or on my drive back from a friend’s house… but, these days, I drive right by and choose another place. I know, I know… everyone is talking about the staff. But have you been here?! It’s crazy! I tried to make small talk/little jokes on numerous occasions only to receive zero response. It’s almost as if they thought I was trying to distract them from checking my ID. Also, they never have more than 6-packs of the seasonal beers that I like to get. Pick another place, there are plenty.

I’m giving this place 4 stars for the area… prices are better than most and the selection is pretty good. Service is kinda«are you gonna steal something?» but I mean this is Watertown… I hit this place up rather often and I am seldom disapointed.

Yea, I’ve got to agree with the other reviews, this is just not the place to go for any booze shopping needs. Dark, dusty, and can’t say I’m a fan of the staff.

This place is as described — it literally smells — the bottles are dusty — the store is cluttered — Go to Vahey’s Havn’t had a rude clerk experience but — I’m sure if i went a few more times i could check off that box.

I agree the staff here is so rude and their selection is dusty. Vahey’s is a much better choice around the corner.

In the 18 months since David B’s review, nothing has changed at Ricci’s. Discourteous staff and overpriced /out of code beer — I bought skunked Bud Light and Sunday River Lager on consecutive visits.

Not sure why the address is not in the listing of the store. If you can avoid going to this liquor store, then do so at all costs. The people there are not nice, the store is really dirty and dingy, and the prices are not that great. GO to Vahey’s nearby and you will be greeted by a very friendly older gentleman. I have completely written off Ricci’s as of July 4th, 2007. I called there not knowing what the hours were on this holiday. I wanted to know what time they closed so I could plan my day and make sure I wasn’t late to the BBQ i was going to. When I called a man answered the phone and said” yes, we are open today” and HUNGUPONME. I could not believe that I was going to spend money at this store and the person on the other line could care less what I wanted to know. I am sure they were getting a lot of calls on the 4th asking if they were open, however that is not a reason to treat a customer like a piece of sh*t. Again, I have vowed never to go there ever again. 331 Main St Watertown, MA2472 (617) 923‑9331
