I’m sorry to say that I will never eat in another one of these. This was my first visit, looking forward to an Irish pub atmosphere and food. The only positive thing about this experience was the waitress, if she was dressed differently I would give her alone 5 stars. I find the uniform silly, I don’t want tits and ass for dinner., but… she was knowledgeable, very upbeat, and friendly. We ordered fish and chips hoping for a good authentic meal. The breading is too much and it came almost black… she noticed and said she would get us new ones immediately… second ones weren’t better ugh. I think the fryer was old oil… couldn’t eat it… coleslaw was not good and the fries were blah. The in season beer was good on draft. I’m so disappointed. We eat at applebees and wanted a substitute… back to applebees can’t beat it!!! For a chain anyways.

I enjoy this place. Service has been good, food has been decent. Second time I went here though I got their fish tacos with chips. The chips were stale and salsa wasn’t good. Other than that, we have had a good time there.

Food is really, really good! Far better than hooters. It’s quieter inside, and there are less TVs as well. I got the muenster cheese and bacon burger. It was Halloween when we went, and all the waitresses were dressed up for halloween, which was pretty cool. Our waitress(She was dressed as wonder woman) was really nice and got everyone refills without us even having to ask, and before our drinks got empty. The hostess(the girl dressed as a cop) didn’t seem like she wanted to be there and wasn’t very welcoming to people, but that didn’t really bother us any. Other than that, everything was great.

Great restaurant. We were on a motorcycle trip and stopped in at the Econolodge which is right behind the Tilted Kilt. We headed over for some dinner and were not disappointed. The staff was friendly. There are tvs everywhere playing every sporting event that was being broadcast that night. The portions were big and the beer was cheap. Our food came quick and our server(Kristi) was very attentive. I will be coming here again next time I pass through. I’ve read some of the negative reviews on here and I can’t figure out why someone would be unhappy with this place. If they had a tilted kilt near where I live, I would spend quite a bit of time there. Highly recommend this restaurant. It was the highlight of my short stay in Watertown NY

If there was a way to indicate a negative star I would put it. Not putting one star would make it seem I forgot to rate this horribly managed and staffed restaurant. It almost seems like this place is where food service careers go to die. First off I recommended this place to some buds of mine as I had been to a Tilted Kilt in Chandler, AZ. That experience was the exact opposite of this one. We came in and we were not greeted by a hostess or host. After milling about for a moment or two we grabbed a table in the bar area hoping one of the innattentive waitresses would notice us. However, we were invisible. We sat in the bar area and we were ignored. We finally caught the hostess who told us they weren’t serving food in the bar area!!! I guess the people eating bar food in the bar area must have brought it in with them because the food there was as crappy as the service. Finally after being seated we were again left alone and ignored. So we left. The hostess watched us get up and leave without so much as a questioning glance as to what was going on. As if she hadn’t seen the ball since kick off. Great job folks…

It destroys Hooters… The beer selection was excellent and the staff was very impressive. Oh and the food was ok.

The space is large and does have a lot of tv but the food is bad. Most of it was over cooked and it tasked like it’s been microwaved multiple times. Presentation was horrible. There was gum under the tables and service was really slow. PS: a pub that runs out of beer or alcohol should not be called a pub. desert tasted ok. But I don’t think u can mess that up.

Bartender was very cute and knowledgable on the beer.(Alexis).I’m from out of state so that helps. Fries were good. Wings, regular bone in, medium tilted sauce, were a bit salty for my taste. Other than that, great place.

This place is ok. The food is good(not excellent). I’ve had the steak sandwich which was garbage but then their pulled pork sandwich is really good. It may have been a case of different cooks but that doesn’t really matter. Most of the time you get a good waitress but sometimes you get a crappy one who you have to ask 3 times to change the channel on the tv to what you want to watch. The fact that you can ask this, however, is pretty sweet. I wish they stayed open later. I feel like they could make a killing if they stayed open until 2 at least at the bar

The menu is great filled with all kinds of awesome pub food. Running a great burger and drink combo special that allows the customers vote for the best combinations!

The place is OK as options in watertown NY are limited. Pretty basic menu most just pub grub type of stuff; scenery is pretty good there and beer is very cold. So that said if you’re looking for a really good meal go someplace else if you’re looking for maybe a burger and cold beer this place will work

Not from this area but in town for work for a week and given some of the previous reviews I thought I would still give it a try. I don’t believe I would find all the tilted kilts this way but the one in Watertown was pretty lame an filled with mostly 50 plus year olds. Not against that buuuuut not what I was looking for. Compared to a twin peaks, not even close.

The atmosphere was great and entertaining. As for the service, our waitress was new so we tried not to ask too many questions about the menu because she kept walking away to ask her supervisor for the answers. Other than that, my boyfriend and I just came for the drinks and curiosity so we only got the Onion Stack and Garlic Fries as a shared meal. Overall those appetizers were pretty fulfilling(at a reasonable price) for a couple and the drinks were good and reasonably priced too.

The service here is what made this place not so great for me. We had three people at the table at the bar and the place wasn’t that busy. The server got all the drinks wrong on the first go… it seemed like there was no vodka in my vodka tonic, no whisky in my co-workers whisky/coke, and my boyfriends bourbon which he asked for with a splash of water and no ice came with TONS of ice. The bartender was more interested in talking to some dude than actually doing her job. I get that she looked good in the outfit, but honestly, your service has to be good as well… that’s actually way more important than your boobs looking good. So, bartenders who actually know how to tend a bar would make this place a lot better.

Took my son here for his 3rd birthday. We thought it would be fun and funny way to celebrate. The food was terrible and even though they said they do a birthday desert, they don’t really. The waitress plopped a gross brownie thing in front of him and said«happy birthday,» then gave us the check. The food was mediocre at best. If you want to see cute girls in skimpy clothes, sit at the bar and watch a game, but don’t come here expecting good food and atmosphere.

My wife and I stopped here for late lunch on our way back from Canada. what can i say? Beer, babes and football. What more do you need? Super friendly waitresses and decent pub grub. And great selection of beer including Smitwicks. Contrary to earlier posters, we saw many women here during our visit, and at least two families with kids, all there to watch Sunday football. My wife loved her chicken salad and the pretzels. I had the fish n chips, which was good but not great. And did I mention the waitresses? Say hello to Shantelle!

First of all, the food was pretty good. I got Shepherd’s Pie, which was very savory and filling; they gave so much, that I took home enough for another meal. I got the orange-flavored drink(I forget what it was called…) and thought it was delicious! The waitresses can give good drink suggestions; my drink apparently contained 3 shots or so, but it tasted just like orange soda — yum! Now for the disappointment… my mate and I drove by this place many times before we were intrigued enough to come in. I should have researched the place first. We expected an interior like a Scottish castle, with men dressed like Braveheart rushing to meet us at the door, sword in hand. Instead, we were surrounded by girls in skimpy schoolgirl outfits. During our whole stay, we saw only ONE man in a kilt, and he was standing behind the bar. The customer-staff interactions can make things awkward. It’s hard to have an intimate couples’ dinner when there are a bunch of Joe’s harassing the waitresses on one side of you and a family with small children and a grumpy-looking wife on the other side. Bottom line: Food and drinks are great, but hire more guys! Men in kilts = fun! different! Braveheart face paint could be optional.

Ahh… the Kilt. Since I’ve arrived to the Watertown area, this has been a place of many a drunk night. :) LOVE their food, however this is definitely the worst Kilt location I have been to. Based on the area, I understand the difficulty in finding stable waitresses as people are constantly having to move in and out of the Drum Area… I find that theyre hiring people with less and less qualifications however. Some of the girls are so shyyou can barely hear them when they talk to you. Long gone are the days of them sitting down with you and having actual conversations :( Oh OLDKILT ways, come back to us, we all miss you.
