Made a random stop here with my girlfriend while wandering around the country on an extended road trip. Upon entering we were met and seated by Cliff, one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. We enjoyed a down home meal and exchanged stories with our host before setting out on the road again. It isn’t fancy, but it is a place you should see if you happen to be in the area. It’ll be a regular stop for us anytime we’re nearby.

Standard burgers and fried food. Ok, but place is full of stuff, which was weird and fun.

First, the bad stuff. One, it wasn’t brightly lit. It wasn’t dark, but there weren’t many lights. Second, it had 70s like stuff. That may be intentional, but it was somewhat old. Three, the bathroom had an awkwardly placed light switch, and no soap in the soap dispenser, rather, in a bottle you turn upside down and squeeze. It was clean, but the faucet spat out water. Four, the place was a haven for the town’s children. They talked loudly, and the waitress scolded like their own mother. Second, the good stuff. The waitress was VERY attentive. She was constantly taking care of me; it was SO nice! The fish and chips were good, and hot(temperature wise, not flavor wise). The stuff was decently priced as well. Bottom line, a definite visit again. It’s one of the best places you can eat if you’re passing through. I loved the food and the people, and I will definitely patronize this business again.
