Tried this place again, only because it is the only one in the area, and once again my order WRONG! I ordered a venti green tea lemonade, the person asked if I wanted it sweetened, I said yes. Though the service window was certainly faster than last time. My drink was not sweetened. What the heck! I will not be going back there. I will be driving out of my way to hit another one on the drive home.

Possibly the best Starbucks I’ve ever been to!
I live in a very Starbucks-heavy area (DC metro). The service we got at this Starbucks in humble Waterville ME blew all my local Starbucks out of the water. The young lady who took care of us at the drive-thru window was so much friendlier and more competent than what I’m used to that it was like a whole different company. Kudos!

Staff takes over the café with loud and self indulgent conversation. Not a customer centric environment. Drive through or drive on, don’t go inside.

For as many times as I have stopped by this specific Starbucks & given them my patronage, I have yet to experience even the slightest form of friendliness from the staff behind the counter. I’m not sure if it’s the suit or the something else but the experience is lousy. I always try to tip & always try to ask the staff how their days are going.
I don’t write bad reviews, but after being treated lousy for so many visits it’s now prompted me to inform other potential Starbucks fans beware of the negative treatment you could receive here. It is absolutely specific to this location as from York, Portland, Freeport, Brunswick, Topsham and South Portland I have always experienced friendly baristas. Not sure why Waterville is so miserable.
Think I’m gonna cross Waterville off my list of favorite Starbucks stores in Maine.

I always get prompt, friendly service at this location, and they’ve never messed up an order. The seating area inside is small but nice for coffee with a friend, and in the Spring they set the outside seating back up.

When you go to Starbucks, you know what you’re getting for product. The wild card is always customer service and my experience this morning was very pleasant! It makes all the difference! The women behind the counter this particular morning were pleasant, willing to deal with my weird requests, and more than happy to leave me with a friendly smile.
Good cappuccino too :)
