Shalom Cleaners is absolutely the BEST in and around town hands down! There truly is no other dry cleaning company that can compare. The customer service is wonderful and amazing, personal, and fun! Everyone’s personality is great! Everyone does such a great job at remembering my name and addressing me as soon as I walk in with a nice welcome or hello with a smile. All my shirts are colored with many different colors and they always go the extra mile of color coordinating my shirts for when I go to pick them up which is awesome! My clothes always get cleaned and returned back to me within days. If you’re looking for a dry cleaning company with excellent service and a job well done this is the PLACE… I guarantee it! I have been a satisfied customer for several years now and will go no other place even if I was offered free dry cleaning. Thank you Shalom Cleaners for doing a great job! You guys are FANTASTIC!

I love this dry cleaners because the service is always good and the owners/​proprietors are exceptionally nice! They always remember my first name and my cleaning is always perfect! Their prices are commensurate with other cleaners in the area. It’s a big plus that they are environmentally proactive!

I have been using Shalom since it opened and it has been great. Great customer service, friendly, and personable. Always timely and no complaints on quality of service. One bonus was that they gave me a dry-​cleaning bag that is bright orange that reminds me to take my laundry in.

Guy at the counter was very nice. He actually remembered my name and I’ve only been here a handfull of times over a 6 month period. I’m just doing laundry of a few shirts at a time. The cost is very low. Light starch, smells good and friendly service. Timely service as well.

I saw a news article in the Register-​Pajaronian about a new dry cleaner in town. The owner decided to go green since dry cleaning involves very toxic chemicals. My mother operated a dry cleaning store years ago, and she had to quit because of the fumes from the perc. So I was down for trying out Shalom Cleaners.
I dropped off my clothes, and I noticed that the young woman at the counter wasn’t very friendly. Nevertheless, I figured that we all have off days, so I didn’t pay her any mind. When I picked up my clothes, I was surprised to find that three articles of clothing cost me $ 22. Those same articles cost me $ 15 in LA. Wow… who knew that living in Watsonville was living the high life! Do very few people dry clean here? Was it supply and demand? Or was it more expensive to go green? I don’t mind paying a little more for environmentally sustainable chemicals, but I was definitely surprised that it was going to be that much more. Plus the lady at the counter was as cold as ever. It would really have helped the pain in my pocketbook if the customer service was fantastic, but it wasn’t.
The clothes, however, came out pretty good. No weird smell from the chemicals. That was a big plus. I would go back, but I won’t be coming often since it’s so expensive. I might try someplace else to see if I can get a better deal on cleaning. I would definitely trust them with something expensive since they did pay attention to detail unlike some sloppy cleaners I have tried out. If you have chemical allergies, Shalom might be the place for you.
