I went in to get some invites printed, Steven was really nice and helpful. The next day I went in to pick up my prints, I asked the girl how much do they charge to cut my invites she states $ 2 per cut. So $ 16 per page since I had 2 invites per page. $ 2 per cut really«Ridiculous» I asked her twice to confirm the price. Customer service was great and helpful staff.

Had a single document I wanted to print. I usually hand it to the print area Rep and they print it as I’m there. This time I was asked to fill out an order and pick up in two hours. Really? Worst customer service ever. Never coming back

I’ve shopped on and off at Staples since it opened. Lately we’ve kinda boycotting it because of the USPS issue about competition(Staples is stealing business away from the US Postal Service by offering US postal services in their stores by non-US postal employees, but that’s another review). I’ve always found the Watsonville store to be clean, well-stocked, a little on the expensive side but you can get great deals when they do have a sale. I bought an office chair on sale a few years ago and it was cheaper than Costco’s regular price(same chair). I always find what I need but most of the sales associates are way too young, not very knowledgeable about store merchandise and know even less about good customer service — except in the computer & photo depts. My wireless H-P color printer stopped working a few days ago and of course I needed copies for a baking project I was working on(making cupcake toppers). I took my flash drive, with the pictures I needed printed and the woman behind the counter plugged it into the dept. computer, printed out the four color copies I needed and I was happy and on my way in about 10 minutes. I’m sorry I don’t remember her name but she was a 30ish Latina woman and I wish she made house calls! I’ll bet she could even get my printer at home working again. The only downside to this store is the parking. The lot is shared with too many other stores and getting a parking space can be tricky… but that’s not the store’s fault.

I used go there to buy my HP ink cartridges. Today, I actually decided not to purchase them a the check out because the employee was such a nasty piece. I couldn’t believe his incredibly bad attitude. I think he was a manager too. I later went on-line to but there is no place to register employee complaints. No wonder these uninterested morons at the counter don’t give a damn if you are there or not. They know that no one cares. Never again Staples.

This Staples is what I refer to as a necessary evil that I have to mentally prepare to shop at. Why, because of the ridiculous lack of knowledge & customer service. We specifically stopped in to purchase a new pricing gun. We were familiar with our Devo & wanted to make sure the Avery was of a similar set up. When asked if we could see the guns set up, we were told they would charge us $ 10! I was surprised & very turned off that Staples would make me pay for what I consider basic customer service. We declined to pay, left the store & placed the order online. I did call customer service prior to my online order & the person I spoke to was very helpful in verifying the specifics of the two brands & did not charge me any additional fees for that knowledge.

Usually, I am not one to write reviews for places like this because 1) Never ever try to come to them-any supplies I need I try to get online & 2) It is understandable that people working at Staples etc. would not be the most stoked on life. But…today’s experience warranted a review. What should have been a quick two minute checkout turned into a big ordeal because the young lad ‘helping’ us was so incredibly uncustomer oriented it was ridiculous. Every question we had about our return & coupon, his response was, «I don’t know, read the fine print». WHAT??? Isn’t it your job to know? So unacceptable. Would rather order online & pay shipping then have to deal with him again.
