One of my family’s favorite places to eat-in and take-out. Nice service. The chef is able to accommodate dietary requests.

Beautiful décor, pleasant surroundings. Good, pleasant service. The complimentary coconut milk cabbage soup was delicious and the curry was fine, attractively presented; the little touches are nice. Will be back to try more of the menu.

One of the few places I go where I always leave completely satisfied. The portions are perfect and delicious, the service is friendly and fast, and the price is right. No complaints here. They have fantastic lunch specials as well for a great deal.(I think the most expensive lunch special was $ 10 and change) My favorite dishes are: the seafood combination pad thai, spicy noodles, and the basil plate. Definitely check this place out if you haven’t already. You won’t regret it.

Lonely vegan in Watsonville without decent food options? Uma Wan can save you from starvation on that busy afternoon when you can’t get out of this non-vegan friendly town. Their yellow curry with tofu/vegetables and spring rolls WILL satisfy your needs.

Service was delightful. Upon arriving we were mesmerized by the beautiful art work and pieces up on the wall. The way the restaurant is set up its upscale and breath taking. The spicy noodles with chicken were amazing. I have had much Thai food in Davis and this plate beats all. It’s touch of elegance & culture left me wanting to come and try everything on their menu. I rate this restaurant 5 stars. It’s worth your time and food. I love food and this place is satisfying.

We tried this place for lunch and it was very delicious! Complimentary soup before your lunch meal too! Soup was very flavorful. Lunch entries are pretty good size and filling. Definitely will go there again if I am in the area again!

Hit or miss. First time here a few months ago was awesome — so awesome that we came back even though we live hours away. The staff were attentive and food was as ordered. However, this trip was disappointing. First of all, I ordered a chicken larb with no spice but it came loaded with peppers. When I reminded them that I said no pepper, they asked if it was too spicy — well duh! So they reluctantly redid it for me. Then I found what looked like a hair in the middle of my sticky rice. They explained that it might be from the bamboo container, which makes sense, but they did give me a new side of rice. From the start though, the fresh spring rolls and peanut sauce were perfect. Soo… good but inconsistent(kind of like Tony Romo lol. Sorry I saw an opportunity…)

Finally made it to try this place out and my FINALVERDICT was MIXED. Entrée prices are higher than say at the typical Chinese joints in town, however it is Thai cuisine. While the food is a notch above average the service was not for me. The place appears to manned by 2 «mature-aged» ladies, one who takes orders, and one who cleans tables and refills water glasses I guess. I think there’s at least one cook in the back, whom I never saw. Good selection of lunch specials of which I decided on Pork Penang Curry($ 8.95) includes soup of the day which was the strangest tasting coconut milk soup I’ve ever had. When it arrived to my table, I did a double take as it was a light brown, yes you heard right a BROWNISH liquid which tasted«off» is the best way to put it. It had a vague taste of coconut milk, carrots, cabbage, lemon grass BUT also had a strong«twang» of vinegary after notes which I found very odd? My entrée, which I asked the server to make it a bit spicier didn’t disappoint. Pork, carrots, green bell pepper, and fragrant basil swimming in a nicely flavored sweet & spicy coconut milk bath. Flavorful, hot, spicy & nicey :P Which brings me to my «beef» with this place. The place was empty when I walked in shortly after 1:30 pm. Service shouldn’t be an issue… however my water wasn’t refilled during the course of the meal nor did the server come back and ask me how everything was. Now spring forward to the end and finish of my meal… the server brings me the check which was«slightly overcharged» to round it up to $ 10.00($ 8.95+Sales Tax), she then asked how the meal was and refilled my water glass as I was pulling out my money. Then to make things weirder, I go to pay up at the front as my server is noshing away at her late lunch, she says«Thank You», goes back to chowing her lunch down as I’m standing there. About 2 – 3 mins later, I literally waive a $ 20 bill at her, and she says«oh, you need change?» yeah like I’m leaving you a $ 10 tip. She laughs, pulls herself away from eating and gives me my change. Umm, okay… lol. Worth a return, BUT for me only for take-out. Food: 3⁄5 Atmosphere: Cool, Thai-Vibe. The artwork in this place is very nice. Pleasant, asianesque, «flutey music» while you dine. Service: 2⁄5 friendly, but not attentive. These ladies really need to step up their service game, or at least have a strong cuppa Thai coffee to wake up!!! Value: 3⁄5 Bathroom: n/a didn’t check it out OVERALL3.0*

The best everything! Thom Yum, Bangkok Duck, it’s all great! My favorite salad is Larb. I take it with Tofu. So good, you won’t miss the meat! The prices are very reasonable too. My husband and I now are very friendly with the staff. Wan, Amporn, and Gunda — the friendliest people I know.

My daughter and I had a craving for Thai, this place had 5 stars so we figured that it was a safe bet. my daughter ordered the pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp, she gave me a bite and it tasted like fish. the whole thing tasted like fish, the shrimp was so fishy that it was nauseating. when we brought it up to our waitress, she refused to take the food back or exchange it for something else since we had already eaten from it. so my daughter tried to get through the food by saturating it with soy sauce, after a few spoonfulls of the sauce, she noticed that there was a bug in the sauce. the waitress offered to give us a box to take it home, uh, no thanks. My meal on the other hand was amazing, the environment was pretty cool, but when they refused to make my daughters food right, it was a huge turn off! :(

Just passing through on our way to Monterey and found this place in Unilocal. We throughly enjoyed our dinner as the décor, service and food were all very good. We would come back anytime and recommend our friends to come as well. They really go out of their way with the ambiance which is not required for me but much appreciated. Ordered the Khome Ka Gai coconut chicken soup/hotpot size and it came out with a flame like we had in Thailand which was cool!

The food here is simply amazing. I’ve been here twice and both times I left completely satisfied. Their water doesn’t taste like it came from the tap. My waitresses were always very friendly and the food came out very quickly. I like how they ask how spicy you want your dish. I asked for the spicy red curry, extra spicy, and it was amazing both times. An order of curry and a bowl of rice is enough to feed 2 people. I’m surprised it was slow both times I came in. They don’t get the credit they deserve. Umawan is an amazingly delicious Thai restaurant. My only regret is I didn’t try it sooner.

The restaurant was slow on a Monday at lunch, beside our group of 7 there were only 4 other patrons the entire time. I ordered the yellow chicken curry. It was tasty. Everyone in my group also liked their meal which included spicy noodles, pad thai, fried rice. No complaints. The server was a nice sweet lady. She split the check for us with no issues and constantly refilled our waters. The place is in a strip mall near Starbucks. It’s sort of hidden unless you are looking for it. It’s nicely decorated and clean. The food was comparable to the previous owner, Bangkok West.

Walked into a beautiful lil gem here in Watsonville. Was greeted with a friendly hello and smile, she seated us promptly and asked how our day was going. We ordered pad tai and spicey noodles from lunch menu. Our waitress brought out some delicious cabbage carrot curried coconut soup, followed by our dishes. I ordered a Thai Ice tea as well, which was amazing ! Both dishes were full of flavor. We will be returning here to try something else next.

An extremely pleasant surprise! Went there because we were a bit too tired to drive to Santa Cruz and ended up finding we were missing out on a fantastic local restaurant! My favorite, red curry medium spicy, was amazing! The broth was tasty, the meat was tender and with lots of veggies! An overall delicious adventure! Along with the curry, we order the spicy noddles, the always classic pad tai and the cocoanut soup; needless to say, it was all amazingly delicious!!! In addition to the great food, the restaurant is very nice and clean and the Staff is courteous, fun and attentive to your needs. As a whole, you can truly enjoy of a nice dinning, or lunch if you prefer, experience! I comfortably can say that this is a great Thai restaurant and would encourage all to give them a try!

Had the best Thai food in Monterey Bay. Have tried numerous Thai restaurants and finally found authentic Thai food that is consistently great and great service too. The staff goes out of there way to make sure you are happy and suggests dishes once they get to know your tastes. Pad Thai is our favorite and appeals to my father in law, who does not like spices but has fallen in love with Thai food especially this restaurant. Number 10 soup is great and don’t let the name fool you it is not too spicy. Combination appetizer plat is great to sample the appetizers and find your favorite. Curries are flavorful and consistently good, you can ask for the level of spiciness you like. Parking is easy as it is located in the Target shopping center so you can shop and grab some lunch or dinner. Great place to discover different dishes and can get all items to go.
