My friend recommended me this place because I was really craving authentic Mexican food. I live in SC and the struggle is real to find some good food. I drove for 40 minutes but it was worth it. They have bomb ass tacos(1.50*) and tortas(6 bucks) and the girl that helped me out was extremely nice. Will come back again !

Great place. Chorizo queso burrito was great and literally stuffed with chorizo — finished it all but really should not have. This will be my go to place from now on. Really friendly staff as well. $ 6 for a huge burrito that was really tasty — say no more.

Super friendly people who answered our questions, even brought our food to us outside. Quesadillas and burritos and tacos were all good, ended up coming back up for more. The highlight for me was the tortillas. Tasted super fresh and were a great texture.

Very small place. Tables not clean. But good food. I ordered tacos, these are actually Taquitos, two bites tacos, reminds me of my home town. Except these aren’t as good. They don’t fry one tortilla, like they do in Mex. The service was good and the wait was short. I would definitely come back for some tacos. Wouldn’t be a family destination. But if I’m around when I’m working, wouldn’t mind. They have a huge variety of meats, I love that. The meats I tried were really good. Al pastor and Chori-queso. I must say, it is difficult to find good chorizo, here it is one of those places where chorizo is that good.

I was working out in Watsonville and asked a few people where a good taqueria was. They all said ‘Taqueria La Fuente’ so I knew I had to give it a try. I got three tacos and let me tell you, au-then-tic. And I’m from San Jose where there are taquerias on every corner. Not to mention, the staff is super friendly. If you’re anywhere near Watsonville, this place is definitely worth stopping by and trying. My only regret-wish I got three more tacos, and probably a burrito. Next time Taqueria La Fuente, next time.

Prices went up since some of these reviews. The tacos are now $ 1.55 still $ 1.00 on Wedsnesday. I had the carne asada and chori-queso tacos. I don’t usually care for chorizo but decided to try it since it was recommended. Both were good. I also had a side of rice($ 2), which was decent but I needed to throw the onions that fell out of the tacos into it. The reviews all say that this is place is cheap but I didn’t think so. 2 street tacos and a side of rice was about $ 5.50. The tacos were good but I think they are expensive for what they are. I’ll go back but it will be on a Wednesday.

My absolute favorite place for tacos. The salsa is AMAZING! Asada tacos are my go to. My boyfriend always gets like 5 different types of meats and he likes them all. Wednesday they have $ 1 tacos. It’s a small place so seating can sometimes be limited because they can get pretty busy. There is outside seating available though. They take card and you can order to go or over the phone for pick up. Place is delicious!

Excellent, authentic Mexican tacos! May I highly recommend Chori-queso(Chroizo & Cheese) and Alambre(carne asada with grilled bell peppers and bacon)? These are the best tacos around. And to top it off, Wednesdays, tacos are only $ 1. Time to go get a plate full! Pro Tip – If you’re checking this place out, don’t play it safe and get chicken or carne asada tacos. They’re fine(a little bland), but the Chori-queso and Alambre will knock your socks off.

Taqueria La Fuente is the place for my family to go to when we are craving tacos. The tortas, burritos and tacos are delicious and cheap! The Staff is friendly and food is prepared quickly! I have seen some reviews that have four stars; yet the reviewer gives them 5 stars comments! I am not sure if they were afraid of giving the full 5 stars, but for me at least, this place is the best for quick, affordable and authentic mexican antojitos! Seating is limited but I don’t see why that would be and issue; most places that have great food are often«whole on the wall» kind of places! Must try the choriqueso tacos!!!

Love this place! I have been coming here since I was young and their tacos never fail to hit the spot. Good food, reasonably priced. The place is kind of small but there are more tables outside.

Mmm! Taqueria La Fuente is delicious! I come here all the time for their tacos and end up being greedy when I order. =D I don’t get much else because that’s all I could ever want from tacos. I also get whole roasted jalapenos they have on the counter, I love the added spice from every bite! I agree with Aaron L. in his review about the chicken, don’t get boring chicken when there’s soooooo many delicious meats to put in your tacos. Carne asada, tripas, lengua, pastor, and on and on. On the weekends they also have menudo but you have to go early because they run out quick! I tried and they were out by their 2nd hour of service. I was bummed. But I’ll get it one day! I guess I should really try other things like burritos or tortas but when I think about it I just can’t not get tacos when I’m here.

I love Taqueria La Fuente! I come here for the tacos, which by the way are $ 1.25 each! Can’t beat that! I specifically love their salsa though, it stands out from the other taquerias, has a unique flavor to it. Place is small, but if you’re looking to satisfy your taco crave, this is the place to go!

14 meats on the menu; pretty awesome considering the size of the place. Until I re-review, I’ll leave them at 4 stars based on that, and a sense of lingering potential. Tacos are $ 1.25($ 1 Wednesday!) which is pretty awesome and cheap. The tacos were ok; spicy salsa on top, but the chicken itself was pretty bland. Nice and soft though. Carne Asada was a bit better, but again, nothing to write home about. I will definitely try this place again — perhaps my mistake was to order the boring meat, and then discover it was, in fact, boring. I’ll have to bring a dictionary to make sure I know what I am getting, though. Funny thing is, from the outside, in the little shopping plaza, I was expecting a less legit place; what I discovered was in fact, very legit. Nice short menu of the standards with a long list of meat. No chips with the order, which is too bad.

Just randomly picked this taqueria for lunch. It’s pretty small, only a few tables inside, but there were a couple of tables for outside seating too. This place has a wide variety of meats to go in your tacos/burritos. I ordered a super carnitas burrito(my typical Mexican food barometer). Kinda meh. I thought it was kind of odd how they put slices of tomato in it. Don’t see that much. Most of the other customers were ordering tacos, so maybe that’s the way to go, but I’d rather try a different place instead.
