I love this place, it’s nearby, the food is amazing and the service is friendly. Handmade tortilla tacos and the caldo de pollo are some of my favorites!

I eat a lot in Watsonville because of work and I love the search for great Mexican food. Teacoman has great tacos if you get the ones with the hand made tortillas. They also have little tacos with premade tortillas. Note that the tortillera goes home in the afternoon and once she’s gone so are the hand made tortillas. I would also recomend any of their soups. Enjoy

This place is tiny! Awesome points for making their own tortillas(and you can hear them making them — slap slap slap.) 2 tacos & a soda for just over $ 5. Now, about those tacos: First, they make their own tortillas! This is good because 1) the tortillas are nice and soft, not cold and chewy and 2) they are pliable and strong, meaning only one is needed to support the taco, not 2 like other places. The carne was a bit oily and nothing special(at the same time, not bland or tasting of market«taco seasoning»), but the chicken was quite good — chunks, not shredded. Tacos were both plain — onions, cilantro, and meat(nothing wrong with that.)a.
