The best and an added treat to Wauconda. I called the week of my wedding reception (low key, outdoor BBQ) and asked for some cupcakes. Only 6 dozen, and Whisk happily accepted. They were delicious and she even got my shade of pink spot on. Thank you again!

Great bakery! However, they butcher Hansa’s beans. Every pour over I’ve had has been watery. The barista served a pour over in under 2 minutes, that’s way to soon.
Please improve your brewing techniques.

Wandering around the Wauconda area and walked by Whisk. How could I not stop in a bakery??? Yum! The cupcakes were delicious and there was a good selection of hot and cold beverages. There is nice seating and the place had a relaxed vibe. Would definitely stop by if in the area again!

They started serving soup (bad sign for a Bakery and it is BAD!) Had the SW corn chowder and it was watery and totally without flavor. Things have been going down here since the owner sacked the original pastry chief. Now there is no one here that I can tell that truly knows how to do anything more that anyone at home could do.

My first experience with the bakery was at a seven course dinner event. Let me tell you the citron tart was amazing. It was the perfect desert and our group of ten could not stop talking about it (and asking for seconds;).
I am particular about my deserts and travel to many high end restaurants and bakeries, this one is at the top of my list.
I would recommend Whisk for anyone looking for a high quality and unique experience.

Absolutely love this place. Every time I am in the Lake County area I make it a point to get some pastries from here. The cinnamon roles and cupcakes are fantastic!

Without a doubt — the best little bakery in Lake County! The cupcakes are out of this world and the cinnamon rolls… Ahhhh the cinnamon rolls. Every trip has been awesome. I’ve also used them for catering services and can get your favorite items sent anywhere — even downtown Chicago! Can’t wait for my next visit — this place is a «must» for sure. Can’t get enough of this awesome bakery! Definitely a local gem.
