Some banging rib tips, hush puppies weren’t that great but OMG the sauce on that meat was incredible

This place was SO, SO, SO promising.
For starters, they were out of hush puppies, bummer. And I was there at 12 pm on a Sunday? It wasn’t late at night or anything.
I got their brisket. it was okay. Sorta dry, needed a lot of sauce to choke it down.
Crinkle cuts: hard to mess up, they were cool.
Vibe/service/atmosphere: you walk in and its so chill and old school. Loved it. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing?
Definitely would try it again!

Hilerys is on point! The rib tips are amazing and so is he mild sauce. I get the mild sauce on the side so I can dip the meat in it and I also get the hush puppies. Best hush puppies I’ve ever had. I really do wish they offered more sides tho, macaroni and cheese would be a hit! Love this place. I’ve gone 1 – 2 times a month since I got here. I’m in the Navy so once I leave I’m going to be extremely sad.

It’s been about a decade since I was last here! I was driving by today and thought why not? I stopped to get some rib tips for myself and a co worker and we just love hillery’s! My only complaint is that there wasn’t enough sauce :(
Glad I stopped in! But next time I will be asking for extra sauce!
