Basically if you only come here using the drive thru, its just another McDonald’s, they are all basically the same. The only thing that stands out with this one is the interior. It is actually very nice inside, with a large flat screen playing the news. Its actually quite comfortable. Still does not change the fact you are eating McDonald’s though.

even with my legendary distaste for mcdonald’s, i still have to admit that the waukegan mcdonalds has a wonderful lodge atmosphere, complete with a fireplace, comfortable couch seating, christmas tree, and so on. this place is impeccably clean. the staff all seem like a bunch of best friends. the atmosphere is incredibly mellow. i seriously can’t believe i’m describing a mcdonalds in these terms, but you’ll just have to take shelter in there for a hot tea on a winter day and see what i mean.
