I guess this hotel is a super eight now? Their wifi and location on gps still says Quality Inn. Short version– very clean room, shower water doesn’t get very hot but the bathroom overall is awesome. would totally stay here again. I came here with my mom to visit my husband at the navy base for thanksgiving. It’s not far from the base but it’s very confusing which gate to go to and how to get there. When we made the reservation she thought«double bed» meant two beds, but it doesn’t. It means one smallish bed. That’s not their fault, just mentioning it to be helpful. There are tons of signs about how new the hotel is. **This review is about the room I had specifically, I’m not sure if all rooms are this handicap/accessible** This place is a very strange mix of old and new, the room and a microwave and a coffee maker. The small flat screen is mounted to the wall, across from a door that leads into the next hotel room? This placement is super inconvenient. You can hear every word they say and their tv if they turn it up loud enough. The picture on our tv is super washed out, and when it’s on it makes a medium pitched hum no matter what. It’s like the sound of a vacuum in the next room.(Which it’s not because i stayed here two nights and it always happens.) certain channels are worse than others. The smoke detector beeps every 40 seconds(I timed it) and the refrigerator made such an annoying vibrating sound I unplugged it. The furniture isn’t bad except the chairs. They are stained enough that you don’t want to sit in them. The staff wasn’t rude during my stay, but didn’t seem to understand much English. I’m not going to complain about that because learning languages is hard, and the woman was very patient and actually cared. The outlets in the room are not near the bed. It’s like they designed this room completely differently and the movers just put stuff where they felt like it. That’s the overall feel. There is an outlet near a table that is handy for laptop use, next to an unused phone jack? More proof for my strange design theory. I think this room would be very handicap friendly, as the doorways are wide and there’s even a wheelchair level peephole for the door.(or a person with dwarfism) There are two clothes hanging areas, one full size and one where the bar is about three feet from the floor. The lighting in the room is dim, three yellow lamps keep the bed area lit up, but the only sink(which isn’t in the bathroom) has a big mirror with a much brighter light, perfect for doing makeup and whatnot. It’s a little hard to find this place at first, just act like you’re going to Gojos Café and you’ll end up at the right place. So why four stars and not two? 1. The room doesn’t feel… Roach motel. It’s not luxury feeling but it’s cleaner than the Marriott I last stayed at. I had to reach under the bed to find my glasses and I didn’t feel disgusted doing so. I moved the mattress over, and to my surprise… It was clean?! Never have I seen such a thing for a hotel this price. 2. The bathroom. It has a shower that you don’t have to step up into, the floor(with non slip strips) simply declines to the drain. A simple curtain separates it from the toilet area(there’s enough room to fit a wheelchair comfortably next to the toilet and still close the door) and everything has plenty of bars to balance and assist moving around. The shower stall has a large seat, a shelf for that level and a higher shelf if you’re taller. The shower head is removable, and has two levels of water intensity. The water doesn’t get very hot, and takes a while to get even warm, but I didn’t mind that because it’s just so… clean.

I am giving this hotel two stars because it is somewhat clean and the complimentary breakfast was good. Unlike the rest of the reviewers, we had good customer service. What is lacking about this hotel is the upkeep. The carpets are very old and extremely stained. The tv in our room didn’t even turn on, a chair was literally taped together, and the latch on the door was torn off. So we couldn’t securely lock our room. The parking lot is shared with a DMV type of business and a restaurant. It is not the safest area, and our first night here we encountered a man urinating on a tree just outside the lobby door. They offer a very inexpensive rate, so you definitely get what you pay for. It is good for the Navy graduation since you aren’t in your room much at all, and it’s close to the base. If you plan on hanging out in your room I recommend staying across the overpass down the ways a bit in much nicer hotels than this one.

This place is exactly like what you should expect for the price. The staff is generally not very friendly, the place is dirty, and there were bugs in the rooms.

Hotel is a little run down but you can’t really complain given the price. Free WiFi and complimentary breakdast. People were very nice and accommodating. Convenient 24hr restaurant across the parking lot. If yore there for a graduation or for interviews, pretty decent!
