Red Wing not what they used to be. (Good old China) So after going to the Licensed Podiatrist he found there was a defect in my red wing and said a good boot company as we both thought Red Wing was would honor a warranty. Not so, at the store the guy said he felt nothing wrong, after he saw the boot was over a year old (out of warranty) then Oh ya I feel it now. He never said anything about the sole or leather being used up. I told him I rarely ware the same boots in a row. I rotate many pair and have a different rotation in winter (insulated). All I got was ATTITUDE I would have liked a sorry, after all I had been buying boots here for over ten years. Check out GOOGLE for red wing made in the USA. Most guys I work with have moved on to THOROGOOD BOOTS check them out (made in the USA) nobody outsources to CHINA for a better product.
