Uhaul on Lewis and Georgetown in Waukegan IL is terrible. All my daughter’s belongings are missing and they have Zero explanation. My daughter’s account is in current standings. She’s been getting the runaround from Uhaul Corporate since last Saturday. Absolutely poorest customer service I’ve encountered. The general manager was very rude and nasty acting as if we did something wrong. Please don’t use this storage facility.

good price, good quality equipments (i.e. trucks, cart, etc.), convenient location. but only 3 stars only because of the wait. we made reservations already still waited 30min just to get out of that place and start our day. when we returned the truck still 30min to get everything checked out. they need to move fast. service is just ok. again, they need to move fast. it’s like the people working here just started there first day at work on this place.

Thank goodness this location was open on Sunday, if it wasn’t, I would not have been able to move. They were helpful and I had no issues. They rent the vans (not trucks) from Ford, so you have to pay an extra fee for that, but oh well.

This UHaul location is understaffed and has pretty crummy hours. I was moving in and was very frustrated waiting 25+ minutes just to turn in the keys for my vehicle. Plus, I had put my stuff in storage here and the hours to get into your unit are not great — no 24 hour access.
