Blain’s Farm & Fleet – Waukesha

Scheduled a fire rotation and balance for 8 am, only to be told when I arrived that I had no appointment but they could do it at 3 that afternoon. Came back at 2:30 and at 4 went to the counter to ask about progress and it was done… for how long who knows. Then I was handed a hill despite having free lifetime service, and spent 15 minutes getting it straightened out. I’ll never buy tires heree again.
As a follow up, I got a call from the store manager today apologising and offering a 20 gift card for my inconvenience. That gets them an extra star.

Went to Farm and Fleet looking for a lawn tractor. Online said they had the model I wanted, but found none on the show floor. As I was looking over the remaining models, Justine approached and very pleasantly offered to help. I explained that it appeared the online quantity was wrong and she proceeded to check multiple ways to find if they had the one I wanted, more than I would have expected. In fact, I even suggested to stop, figuring it wasn’t there. Well she found it outside, it was wet and she went to extra lengths just to find a rag to dry the seat so I could sit upon it. After I purchased it, I got a message saying I couldn’t pick it up when desired, please call. Did so. Spoke to Eric who said there should be no problem, could I wait briefly and he’d find out the situation. Eric came back a minute later and very genuinely apologized, saying they misunderstood my order, thought they were supposed to deliver my lawn tractor (which they weren’t) and that I could surely pick it up as I indicated.

Went to buy a utility trailer on last day of sale. At a great price, they were sold out. Sandy at the auto service desk was right there with my rain check. She said she’d call when the trailer came in, about 7 to 10 days. She called in 4 days to say they were in and that she’d call again in another 2 to 3 when it was assembled, as they had many to build. Sandy called the next day that it was ready. Wow. Late that afternoon, Sandy made the purchase process and the F&F credit card application (additional 10% off) a quick and pleasant experience. She met me in the yard to hitch up my trailer and the lock mechanism wouldn’t close. Sandy and a yard helper (I think his name was Ryan) pulled my trailer to the garage area where she had a mechanic replace the whole trailer tongue. Then we did the safety and lights check and I was on my way. I came in that day near the end of Sandy’s shift, but she stayed for about another 45 minutes until everything was done to her and my satisfaction. A big THANK YOU to Sandy ‘the trailer lady’ for a great customer service experience.

Terrible-​Tires and Service Center
So we had 4 tires replaced recently under the buy 3 get 1 free promotion. They tried to slide the higher price past us, we paid for valve stems and they didn’t replace them. Went in to have their mistake fixed and they wanted us to wait 2.5 hours! Goto Discount Tires in Waukesha, you can have your tires on your car in under an hour!
After waiting. 45 min to schedule our appt. We took the car in on the next Sat. The price was incorrect but the cashier insisted it was correct. She followed up and turns out it was incorrect. (They did adjust)
The tres have been great but we paid for the valve stems and sure enough… a nice slow steady leak from clearly old valve stems. So on a Tuesday early afternoon we went in to have them replaced, they told us we would have to wait 2.5 hours to have them fix this!
Terrible terrible service and I’ll never shop in their automotive department again.

This store gets an «A.» The goods are always at a good price. They have an excellent variety. I think it’s even better than Ace Hardware, that almost always has whatever you want… but not so cheap. This store is not grungy like many warehouse stores… although I’m not sure why the lights are so dim right now. It’s fun just to explore here.

No customer service. Not poor. Just none. Waited 22 minutes for help to get a car battery and finally decided to just leave. Could see if they were busy but there werent. There was only one customer ahead of me and he looked bored waiting too. Never even saw a sales person.

Worst customer service period. Ordered tires and they cancelled my appointment. Called to reschedule and was put on hold for nearly an hour. They hung up on me twice and had to go to the back of the call que each time. My girlfriend got tires put on and they told her to bring her car back in after a few days to get her wheels retourqued. She brought it in and they had no clue what she meant. Incompetence and lack of customer service at its finest.

I had always heard the rumor that Mills Fleet Farm and Blain’s Farm & Fleet were originally one company and split because of some horrible family rift. Apparently, that’s not true — they’re two basically identical chains that started at essentially the same time selling pretty much the same stuff.
This location is a «Blain’s» and their slogan is «The hardest working people in America find value at Farm & Fleet». They seem to stock absolutely everything from Mom jeans and casserole dishes to tires and lawn mowers. There’s acres of Carhartt gear, pink camouflage Christmas stockings, a full hardware stores worth of hardware, huge bags of mixed nuts, toys, housewares and livestock supplies. They stock pretty much everything a stereotypical Middle American could ever want/​need.
It’s a wholesome kind of place too — the lines on Black Friday were horrendous but the guy in front of me let an old lady cut the line AND held her hand mixer for her. If you’ve ever wondered where the State Fair People get their snazzy outfits that question can probably be answered here. You might spot a mullet or two and certainly some 80’s feathered hair.
Bottom line — its not a place I need to visit often but sometimes they have the Keurig that my MIL wants at $ 20 less than anyplace else. ‘Murica!

Went their after getting a flat tire on I-​94. Pulled in at 8:30 with a space saver on the front.
They are open another 30 minutes, but tell me that it is too late to mount and balance a tire. Now I get to drive to work tomorrow with a small spare on the front when they had the tire in stock. They were too busy to mount and balance a tire, but five guys are goofing around in the shop by the tire mount machine. Whatever Farm & Fleet. Worst customer service I’ve experienced in a while.

this place needs a good union for their Employees .& that is why those people could care less about helping their customers

We went here to find a baby trailer to hitch to a bike. Target across the street was sold out at the time. So here we are. Some employees were very helpful and nice while some were very busy to take care of customers. cashiers were pleasant.
Interesting if you need ammunition they have a large walk up display however in some of the other stores they have a full selection of rifles handguns even black powder muskets.
This place has a great selection for clothing and patio furniture and snacks and baking supplies of pistachios, cranberries, dried plums, dried cherries, walnuts, pecans, almonds, chocolate, and candies in bulk sizes.
