Stopped in for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the portions and prices at this Little BBQ restaurant. I got the pulled pork sandwich(only $ 5!!) and shared Mac and cheese bites and bread pudding. The pulled pork sandwich was huge and delicious. I could have easily eaten only half of it for lunch. I was not a big fan of the mad and cheese bites but i usually don’t like fried food in general. This is one of the best options for BBQ in the area.

Summary: love love love! Great food and staff for a great price. Not a lot of seating and runs out of popular items quickly! Came here on a Wednesday around 6:15 pm for dinner. Wasn’t super crowded yet, easy to park since it’s in a shopping strip. There were 6 of us and the largest tables are for 4 so 2 of us sat in a booth next door. We were overwhelmed with choices and wanted to try everything! The ladies were super nice to help us out and pick the following: –fried corn: my favorite part! I’ve never had them like this the middle was creamed corn so warm and gooey! –fried Mac n cheese: great Mac n cheese to fry ratio — baby back ribs: lots of fat on the ribs and had an excellent dry rub –pulled pork: add their sauces and it’s perfect — beef brisket: I usually prefer pulled pork but in this case I loved the beef brisket. It was so peppery on its own which I love! — spiced fries: needs more of their special seasoning! But they were cooked to perfection — corn muffins: ran out of these but got a taste loved them, dense and sweet

One of my top 5 worst dining experiences. Arrived at 11:20 on a Friday for lunch, placed my order and sat down and waited, and waited, and waited… After waiting for 40 minutes, and seeing several people come in, order, and leave with food(most of them having to ask for the drinks they ordered and didn’t get), I went up to the counter. Having a doctors appointment I needed to get to, I simply asked for my money back because I hadn’t received my food. She asked what my name was, I told her, and she said my food would be right out. I told her I didn’t even want the food anymore and could I have my money back. She completely ignored me and went about processing other orders. I asked a third time to get my money back and her response was to ask what kind of sauce I wanted. Incredibly frustrated at this point I told her not to bother because I wasn’t going to be able to eat it and could I have my money back. I was again ignored and handed my bag of food, now in a to-go bag. The ignorance and obliviousness of the staff was mind boggling. They clearly have no people or customer service skills and aren’t capable of doing anything more than handing out plates and bags of food. I did have two bites of my brisket while trying to drive and it was the driest brisket I’ve ever had, the rest went in the trash. It’s also worth noting that a brisket dinner is actually a sandwich with more sides. Dinner to me implies meat and sides, not a measly sandwich.

Very good food. Pulled pork was very good, delicious smoked flavored. The baked beans were very good. For appetizers had the fried pickles and fried mac n cheese bites, both were excellent! Good friendly service!

Underwhelmed by the quality of Pat’s Place BBQ. The staff is super nice and friendly and for the most part if you are ordering food for dine in or carry out there will be a wait because this place is always busy and popular but each time I have ordered food here I’ve known I can do a better quality BBQ in my backyard. So why do I come here you ask? Well I come when I don’t have time to properly smoke my pulled pork or ribs for 3 or 4 hours so I use this place in a pinch for some BBQ but honestly every time I’ve had their food I’ve felt like I can do better at home. It just seems like the ribs and pulled pork I’ve got from here is always too fatty and not a good bark on the meat that you crave and can easily get from your patio or backyard grill or smoker. I give them 2 stars for the awesome and friendly staff and coupled with an average food quality I guess it’s 2.5 stars but whatever. I love a good BBQ place here on Waukesha but really I just feel like much better results can be achieved in your back yard.

I went vegetarian recently and this place makes me regret that decision. Super small inside, but it’s definitely got the bbq shack vibe! The service was friendly and super helpful, and the brisket sandwich was disgustingly tasty. I always love a place with tons of bbq sauce options, and this place definitely hit the spot there. I wish I could go back!

I arrived shortly before 7, and I was told i could not order ribs(what!?!). I emailed management and was told this is normal practice. Plenty of Google and Unilocal reviews say the same. They don’t want to waste any meat so it’s best to arrive as early as possible. They’re only open weekdays and most people work, so 7PM is not an unreasonable time to eat dinner. Long story short: don’t assume you can order RIBS at Pats RIBS Place

Literally the best kept secret of BBQ in the Waukesha-Milwaukee area. It blows Speed Queen out of the water, all the BBQ sauces are homemade, and the meat is well prepared. I’m a fan of the pulled pork sandwiches. If you get a chance try to take some of that sauce home. Its amazing. Also the customer service is fantastic.

I’ve been going to Pats for longer than I can remember. Service has always been extremely good. I appreciate good bbq and the time and care it takes to do this day in and day out. So I just want to say to Alisha keep it up all your hard work shows Thanks Mike

Great bbq, great prices, better than great service. Our only beef was ribs weren’t ready late afternoon. Despite this, brisket was legit good! Sauces tasty and homemade! We will be back!

It’s Pats ribs in Waukesha. The food is good, the service was some high school age kids and they are not the most focus but who eats somewhere for the service. It’s a rib place in a strip mall, you call the food in, pick it up, and enjoy it at home. If you live in Waukesha and you have not tried it yet I don’t know what you are waiting for because someday is now!

Yummy, yummy food. We purchased rib tips, pork and beef sandwiches. Wonderful taste. Everything was slathered Pat’s sauce. But if the other sauces are as good as this one, we’ll be coming back quite often for encores. The folks behind the counter were gracious. Food ready quickly. Will definitely return soon.

I am a fan and will be back! Enjoyed some good fries with a delicious brisket sandwich. I really loved Alisha’s Special Sauce. Beans are above average for sure. I don’t care much for traditional style slaw, so I paid extra for the fried pickles and they were not my favorite. I could see how some may enjoy this style of fried pickle, but they were too salty for my taste.

Visited Pats Ribs for the first time and was greeted by the lovely owners. Ordered the pull pork and spare ribs. The pull pork was good but the spare ribs were excellent. They have their own selection of sauces which run from sweet to spicy. I would recommend the Alishah’s special sauce. They do have brisket and lot of variety of sea food which I will try the next time I visit. Over all great BBQ food in Waukesha. Beats BBQ chains like Famous Daves hands down.

First time I went there was with a few college friends, I never knew there was BBQ place in Waukesha Co. We went there and even got a Carroll student discount. You know how College students are, trying to save every penny. Small restaurant with bold BBQ flavor. When I stop in I order Pull Pork Sandwich meal that comes with cold slaw, fries, and baked beans. Delicious! And the extra sauce they ask is even better(Customer Service a plus). I love flavor, I get an extra of the Pats special sauce. Yum!

The most amazing BBQ joint in all of Waukesha! I have almost tried all of their meals in their menu including their sides, and a few specials and it is all worth your money! Mouth watering and very delicious! Alisha and her staff are very friendly and welcoming, and make you feel right at home! My wife and I always recommend Pat’s to all of our friends and family! Do NOT let the negative reviews trick you into not going here, this place is worth it! I have NOT been disappointed ever… ever! LOL!

Descriptive phrase: Southern, homey BBQ joint. To say there isn’t anything else like Pats Rib Place in Waukesha would be an understatement. I felt like I was transported down south when I walked out of the stripmall parking lot on Sunset and into this tiny little diner. It was a combination of the old blues and jazz on the speakers, the high-top counter, the pictures of patrons on the walls, and the smells emanating from the kitchen. We ordered the Beef Brisket Sandwich($ 5.99) and Beef Fry Basket($ 6.99) and took them to one of their small booths. This is a no-frills place, to be sure, and locally-owned and operated. You can tell a lot of love has gone into it. The beef brisket was tender, if a bit dry by itself. But the 6 available BBQ sauces on the table, all with an individual kick, made up for that. The fry basket, which featured the brisket just piled onto a bed of french fries, seemed a bit simplistic but was a satisfying dish. Be on the lookout for Pats if you’re in the area.

So this place is this tiny room that you wouldn’t find unless you were looking for it. What you didn’t know is that you are. They have the juiciest brisket and pulled pork, we had both and no regrets!(we were having dinner an hour after). Fried green beans, perfectly crisp with this ranch that was amazing with«Alisha’s sauce,» this sweet and spicy BBQ sauce that was awesome! They had a variety of BBQ sauces, all delicious. They had amazing cole slaw, usually I’m seasoning it with salt and pepper, not this time. It was perfect. I can’t believe how good everything was, only because I’m so far away!!! :( But definitely something to try out. A small place that offers big appetite.
