Attentive staff. Clean restaurant. Low prices and big portions. Best quesadillas ever!!!

Decided to give this place a try since I live nearby. The guacamole was delicious and the salsa was okay. You only get one option which is a mild salsa that needed salt. I ordered the enchiladas mexicanas with chicken. I tired to sub out the chicken for plain cheese and onion and the waitress looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. She finally told me no they can only make it with the given options of chicken or beef. Since I wanted the guacamole on the side I just went with chicken. The enchiladas were the worst I’ve ever had. The red sauce on top tasted like chef boyardee ravioli sauce. The rice was very bland, I had to add a lot of salt. The beans were just beans, not terrible but not great. The food came out quickly. Service could have been a little better. We were the only ones in there but had to wait a bit for the bill. When the waitress finally came with the bill she noticed our sodas were empty and finally asked us for a refill… as we were ready to leave. The waitress was very plesant, just not observant. Overall, not a place I would recommend or ever return to.

We eat at Serrano’s fairly often and it’s consistently good. We enjoy the margaritas, with a decent selection of flavors besides traditional lime. The steak tacos are usually very good, any dish al pastor is delicious — including my favorite: Enchiladas Serrano’s. The sides of rice and beans are some of the best we’ve had. Overall it’s a good place to catch a bite of some good Mexican food and drinks.

Great service and good food make for an excellent experience! We had the May lunch specials, excellent tacos and enchiladas! Come in and support a new restaurant!
