Ulta

Everyone was so friendly & helped us pick out perfumes/​colognes for Christmas gifts. We ended up getting a free bathrobe with our purchase and a few extra free add-​ons that came with the items we bought. The manager on duty that afternoon (¹²⁄₁₉) was really helpful & so nice!

The Salon at Ulta in Waukesha is great! I got married in Waukesha and the salon team did my hair and the bridal party. We did a test run this summer and then came back for the wedding. Perfect! I was so happy and Thalia did a great job on my hair.
I would highly recommend Ulta as an option for bridal and/​or special event hair!

This place is ridiculous!!! I had an appointment at this location and they decided to call 10min b4 scheduled time to cancel… who does that??? How unprofessional!!! And now my daughter is extremely upset and pissed off because she missed school and took off work!!! My daughter made appointment last week thursday and they asked if she wanted to b a txt or call for reminder my daughter got neither… so she called to make sure and see what was going on and they said she canceled her appointment… BULLS$it!!!
Not true!!! I dont know whats going on with this location but they need to get there crap together!!! She was probably better off going to the paul michell school she rescheduled her hair best b on point if not ill take this further!!!

Apparently I checked in at the wrong Ulta… oops. Anyway this is the one I was actually at to have my hair done. My hair is very thick, very frizzy, and just really difficult to deal with. Once it gets past a certain length, my head is permanently tilted back because of the weight. It also ends up becoming tougher to style. I trust very few stylists with my hair since many of them really don’t know how to deal with it. You can’t just cut it and style it like «normal’ hair… it needs creativity, coaxing, and patience.
I decided to book at Ulta because it was close by and have some friends that have used Ulta before and liked it. I was also hoping they would take me at the last minute because I had one of those meltdowns were I just wanted my hair chopped off right then and there. Fortunately when I called they booked me in for the same day with a very cheery sounding stylist. When I arrived, they weren’t very busy as I had seen on other Saturdays I had gone in… actually it was really relaxing because it was fairly quiet. Aly was the stylist and I was a bit worried because she is quite young so I wasn’t sure how she would deal with my obnoxious mop.
For $ 35 I had a shampoo, cut, and style (she straightened my hair which people normally charge extra for because it takes longer, but she didn’t charge extra). That was a pretty good deal! So why the three stars… 1) there are some pieces of hair that didn’t really get cut, so they stick out a bit from the rest of the hair and 2) the other ladies (stylists and sales associates) were having a bit of a b*($& fest and gossiping about who was leaving and the new manager. I don’t have a problem with those fests, but there is a time and a place for them and on the floor within earshot of customers is not the appropriate time or place. I will give props to Aly for acknowledging it and apologizing to me for it, even though she wasn’t participating.
