Heard from a friend that Angela was pretty good. Decided to take a chance and booked an appointment. I’m pretty picky with haircuts, so I told her what I wanted exactly. She suggested a little shorter on sides. Glad I took her advice, because it looked way better then my last barber.

I have been coloring my hair for years and wanted to try a healthier option so I decided to give Divine Studio a try, seeing as though they use all natural and organic products. While I do like the array of products that they sell and the way my hair takes the color, there are more things about Divine that I am not so thrilled about.
I have seen all of the cosmetologists at Divine and they are all VERY rough with your hair! I have never met more tug-​aggressive associates in my life. It is a very harsh wash/​rinse, unlike many salons that make it comfortable and relaxing. I don’t know if this next issue is a problem with their sinks or just carelessness, but they manage to get your face SO WET with the rinse nozzle. I have literally walked away with smudged mascara because they spray so much water on my face. The color itself is nice but being organic it will definitely fade faster than non organic hair color. You will likely need more «full head» touch ups more often because the fade it more noticeable.
I also have a problem with them not asking how I would like my hair styled, if it’s ok to use certain products in my hair (finishing gloss, wax, etc), or even asking at the end of my appointment if I like my hair cut! My previous stylist always gave me a mirror to check out my cut up close and to view the back. At Divine they simply cut my hair, turn my chair around and I’m free to go, just like that.
While I will continue to color my hair organically, I wouldn’t mind checking out other salon options.

Had another FABULOUS experience at Divine Body & Styles. I originally met Angela (the owner) and her staff at the Natural Parenting Expo last year. I was so excited to find out a salon like this existed. Angela gives a great haircut, beautiful color and highlights and has a fun, approachable personality. It’s such a pleasure to have your hair colored/​highlighted and there be virtually NO odor. No uncomfortable burning or itching of your scalp, and natural, fresh smelling hair when you walk out. Today I also had my eyebrows done and she did a perfect job. Miriam has done my makeup before is she also wonderful. Highly recommend this place.

I went to the salon just before thanksgiving. I haven’t dyed my hair in awhile and was tired of the chemicals that come with dying your hair, so I wanted to try organic hair care from a certified organic salon. That was the real selling point for me, knowing that Angela is certified as an organic hair colorist made it worth it. Not only was she able to get my color just right, she also informed me of the differences in organic hair dye and conventional hair dye. How to properly care for my new hair style. I would recommend Divine body & styles to anyone who wants to use organic health care products. She doesn’t just do hair either, on my next visit I plan on visiting the spa! :)
