My husband and I come here frequently for a burger, fries, and ice-cold beer. The food is always solid. My favorite is the mushroom and Swiss burger! ONE time during an especially frantic lunch rush, our fries were overdone.
WHAT?! Stop the press!!!
I kid. No biggie. The Nugget is a typical Wisconsin bar scene, with very friendly bartenders and cooks – and the prices really can’t be beat. We will continue to be regulars.

I’ve had worse and had much better. Quiet midweek — Local hangout, friendly enough folks and staff. Tried it for quick burger /sandwich couple of times & the last time will be my last. Served what looked like a burger; but the play-do ones my nephews make kind of look like burgers too. Think I’d rather had the play-do one. What I got was good for shoe repair or hockey maybe — not so much for eating.

This is really the place to be on a Saturday night in Wisconsin!
Not only are jaeger-bombs cheap here, but the beer is too. Both are freely flowing as the DJ spins all night long under the massive disco ball that shines bright upon Waunakee’s finest getting hot & steamy on the dance floor below.
I’ve been to clubs in New York, Chicago & San Francisco, and although those places had their appeal, nothing can compare to dancing the night away in a packed bar on Waunakee’s Main Street to the tunes of «Shout» and «Mony, Mony»
Club Nuggt, you can bet I’ll be back soon!
