Super 8 Waxahachie

We were very impressed with this hotel, especially because we were tired and cranky and ready for a break from our travels. It is easy to see from I-​35, but take your time navigating from the exit because it is quite dark. If you are heading south be aware you’ll have to head north to swing around and get back on 35south.
The place is brightly lit and very clean. The manager was extremely kind and generous to our family. He had a crib available and took time to make sure my brother was set with it. The rooms were clean and the beds SO comfy. The sheets smelled fresh and the AC was fully functioning. There were some items that were dated (mini fridge and microwave) but at least they were there.
Breakfast was free… a small selection, but sufficient. You really can’t complain.
I really wanted to stress the kindness and courtesy of the management. Top notch. One of the few times I felt compelled to give a tip at a hotel.
