Comfort Suites

All rooms here have interior access, so it’s more of a hotel than a motel. The rooms and lobby are clean and in good shape — no insects or strange odors. The bath and vanity countertop are granite, the flat panel TV works fine, and the indoor pool and hot tub are clean. The breakfast is good: do-​it-​yourself waffles, apples, oranges, cereal, eggs and sausage. The Wi-​Fi is spotty: sometimes I had a bit of trouble accessing a simple webpage, but other times I streamed four continuous hours of Amazon Prime video without buffering. If you’ll be visiting Okefenokee for a few days, the Waycross area is a good choice. It’s farther away than Folston, but there are many more restaurants to choose from in Waycross.

I booked a suite for two nights online. Time I walk inn the manager was rude. My neice stop by to say hi with her 3 miniature chiauhau, was there 15 minutes. I get a call from the front desk saying she’s charging $ 60 to my card for pets. Then at check out I’m told she’s charging me ANOTHER $ 150 to my card because the room smelled like a bar! It was my daughters birthday so we had balloons and streamers but none of us drink. Only people in the room were me, my mom, and daughter. I will NEVER stay there again. To top it off they have a bad case of roaches.

Nice location, however finding the entrance was a little tricky. You have to go through the parking lot of the title loan place right in front of it. Clean lobby, nice staff. The room appeared clean, but my comforter was spotted and badly stained. My 4 standard pillows looked like they had been washed in a machine. The bed linen really needed to be replaced. I placed a towel over my pillows before using them.

Friendly staff — clean rooms — mini refrigerator — microwave — big flat screen TV — pool — hot tub — Awesome breakfast! — plenty of parking — Free Wi-​Fi — Centrally located — Sonic, Walmart, Applebees, Dairy Queen — just to name a few, nearby.
The only negative. .. they did not have a KING room available! Wish they had more king rooms — double queen was nice though.

Nice staff … clean rooms … working flat screen TV. Lots of pillows on the bed.
