I’ve only ever gotten their wings here on wing night. The place isn’t the most appealing place inside. However, it is Walmart after all. The wings are absolutely amazing. They are great in size with plenty of meat on them. They are cooked perfectly and crispy just like I like them. I suggest getting their ziggy sauce. It’s a mix between sweet and spicy, sort of a honey hot type deal.

Our family loves Wednesday wing night at the Crossroads. They have quite a following on this night so I recommend getting there by 5:00pm to get in quickly or the wait time could be a half hour. I believe they charge .40 cents a wing. They have a full menu of your typical American food at a reasonable price. They have a nice selection for kids too although my children tend to get wings with us. They have a variety of flavors and you can get as many as you can eat(mix and match). There is no smoking allowed here but children are not allowed in the bar area. They have plenty of seating in the dining room. In the summer their outdoor seating is open. It’s canopied so bugs can’t bite, which I love. The seating itself could use updating since it’s just picnic tables and I find sitting on a slab of wood with no back support tends to bother me after awhile. Waitstaff is very friendly and want to make sure you are happy. Bathrooms are kept clean & the whole restaurant is tidy too.

Food is good and the staff are very professional. The owners wife is holding it back. She gets drunk and is very disrespectful to regular customers. I have seen her drive customers out due to her running her mouth when she is intoxicated.

Go on wing night. Hot garlic are the best sauce. Ziggy are pretty good too. There is one super rude waitress so watch out.

Tonight’s wing night visit to the crossroads was one miserable experience after another. It started with the«host» explaining the rules of wing night.(Order as many as you’d like but you won’t be able to take more than 9 pcs home with you…) Really??? Then, sitting literally 45 minutes after the first round of drinks without our server stoping by even once. When we flagged down the host again(yes, apparently there are servers AND hosts) we got blasted with the«I’m just the host. You’ll need to talk to your server.» response. She started to follow up with something about«that’s why we ask you how many people in your party when we seat you» but it didn’t have anything to do with the fact that we were just thirsty and we let it slide. When the wings finally came,(yet another server) couldn’t find room on our crowded table so she impatiently plopped a paper container of celery and blue cheese right on top of my plate full of wings! The host had no worries about where our orders where or if we needed anything, but she was right there as soon as we stood up to collect the cash. Total time from walking in to walking out was 2 hours. Yes, the place was busy but that’s no excuse for the lack of personability and follow-up.

The last time I was here was in the 80s and Foghat was on the jukebox and most of the crowd was stoned and barely legal. Anyway, stopped by here last night after a visit with my Mom for some chow before the long slog back to Philly. I have to say, I have no regrets. This is a great bar with great bar food. Walking past the bar to the dining room, we were greeted by locals with a friendly nod of the head. The waitress was awesome-full of life and very passionate about her job. The menu was big, and varied, but I stuck with the fried pierogies and a bacon cheeseburger. Pierogies were homemade. The burger was hand formed and cooked to order. The prices are typical for the area, but shockingly low for a guy who lives near Philly. My burger was $ 3.25 plus .25 for each topping. Places near me in Philly charge $ 9 for a burger that is frozen, microwaved, then tossed on a grill. Where is the love? The beers at the XRDS were ice cold and frothy. Next time I’m in Walmart, I’ll be stopping in for another hearty meal and some good times at XRDS!

I went to this restaurant after a recommendation from a friend. Im glad i traveled a few extra miles for a good meal. I started with a salad, decent and fresh, chicken wing bites– had the mild sauce — awesome. The wings are highly recommended here. They bought out a loaf of freshly baked bread-tasty and warm. For dinner i had a 10 ounce delmonico steak– not perfect but not bad. The food was good. The place is clean and looks newly renovated. The crowd varied but is good for kids and families in the dining room. Stop by for a beer and some pub grub or dinner. The prices are reasonable.
