Last week I got food poisoning and ended up in the ER after eating at this local bar. I contacted them to report the illness and warn against a potential food emergency, but my calls were never followed up with or given a response. I will never give this place my business again.

The chips and salsa are made fresh twice a day by Chef Monica Gambrell. She serves up her family generations of recipes originating from Mexico inside of the US-12. This food is very tasty. On the menu is ground beef, chunky beef and chicken tacos, enchiladas, tostados and burritos. With a side of rice and a choice of beans accompanying most dishes. I found the chips to be of a thicker more sustantial texture and nicely flavored. I highly recommend the chicken soft tacos special. $ 3 margaritas helped to wash it all down. The tab topped out at $ 22.for the two of us and that can’t be beat. Staff is friendly and attentive. Also, there is «Mexican bingo» set out on the tables. This is a new one to me. Next trip maybe I will dabble with it.
