Been going to Exotic for 20 yrs. never had a bad nail or airbrush job. Nick and Michael are the best and previous owner, August, was amazing at airbrushing. But Nick now does an amazing job.

I honestly want to give zero stars. I was getting a full set of acrylics. All of my fingers were cut and bleeding by the end. The shape of my nails are all crooked and uneven, and on top of it the acrylic was still stuck to the sides of my fingers.(I had to rip them apart myself once I left.) I asked for gel on top, and my nails are painted unevenly, not covering all of my nail in some areas and on my skin in other areas. I cannot believe they had the audacity to charge 45 dollars. I will not be going back ever, and will be making sure no one I know does either. ***update since getting my nails done here I got a huge infection on one of the nails they cut open. I had to be put on antibiotics and will NEVER go here again.

Went here for the first time yesterday. Asked for a gel manicure. She removed the old gel and cut my finger with the electric sander. She got the bottom coat on and then added the white for a French. It’s obvious she had no experience and kept asking if it was alright. The white was globbed on and streaky. She kept telling me the top coat of clear would hide it lol. They had to be soaked off again and redone by someone else. Her job wasn’t that much better. My fingers are sore from all the acetone and the sander. The gel is over the sides of my nails. Just a poor experience. Oh and they never cleaned the pedicure stations when they were done using them.

I decided to try this place after having an unsanitary experience at another local nail salon. I needed a local place to get a pedicure so figured I would give this one a chance. Everything was going fine until the woman went to go scrub my feet with the sponge. Usually, this part of the pedicure tickles but is relaxing at the same time. All I can say is ouch!!! I felt like the woman was using a brillo pad on my feet. I’m not sure what type of sponge she used, but it was extremely painful. I wish I had spoken up and said something but I didn’t. I thought to myself I would finish up here and just never come back. I get home and a half hour later my feet are still hurting. I felt like they were bleeding at the bottom(thankfully there weren’t). They were so sore for more than an hour after I left. All I was looking for was a nice relaxing pedicure which is definitely not what I found here. My search for a new local place continues…

I have been coming here since I was 18 years old, I am now 32! I’ve only been unhappy with my nails once in all that time. A few months ago the place was taken over by new owners. They totally turned around the interior of the salon. It looks wonderful now. I go to Nick who always does a wonderful job on my nails. I like mine wider towards the tip & he always listens & gives me what I want. A whole set is $ 27, fill ins are $ 16& air brushing is $ 3. Great prices! And my tips will last me a little over a month & I’m a waitress so I’m rough on my hands & nails & they STILL last over a month. I am very happy with Exotic Nails & will continue to be a customer for years to come!

My first year of college I would get acrylics done here. Usually, they did a nice job giving the nails a nice shape and look. Only once was I not happy with the final outcome. There is one man that always did the air brushing, and he always did a fabulous job. It was almost fun to go here and await the results of your newly done nails. I’ve since stopped going a couple of years ago, just because all the money adds up after a while, but they did have a great price. I think it was 17 bucks for fills and 3 for airbrush(free if you didn’t get it done on the whole hand). For fun: a huge array of choices for airbrush design.
