Paramour is one of my favorite brunch places on the Main Line. My family and I go for special occasions, such as birthdays and graduations, every year and we are always extremely satisfied. They have great drinks, a variety of appetizers, and delicious, fresh main entrees. Every meal that I have eaten here has gone above and beyond my expectations!

Let’s start by saying parking sucked At the hotel but we were able to get a good spot across the street and after 6 it’s free street parking. That being said we went in we had a reservation and we were sat immediately. Our server was great it was supper busy and loud so although the service wasn’t the fastest it was respectable I was supper in the mood for a burger and although the whole menu looked good that’s what I went with I also had the crab stuffed Peppers both were delicious and I highly recommend the truffle fries. Along with the lobster roll and the lamb it was all very good. That being said I will be going back for the 5 course with wine pairing.

wow. what a special place! the Wayne Hotel is stubbing, so I knew the restaurant would be a show stopper. had a friend in from out of town, and decided this meal was in place of gifts for each other. it was quite the treat. started with wine. had crab stuffed peppers for an app. knock outs. they were fantastic. she had game hen for dinner while I went with the filet. cooked to perfection and stunning presentation. staff was attentive and professional. I will definitely be back for a special occasion again.

My review is based on lunch. My coworkers and I came here. I had the lobster roll which was good but the roll wasn’t very toasted and not warm. Fries were nice and crispy. The bread they served for before our lunch was cold and very hard to chew. It was served with a fruity butter which was good but not something I’m used to before any meal.

My family and friends hosted my baby shower at Paramour and it was a great event! We had a brunch menu and it seemed like everyone enjoyed their food and the service was wonderful. The décor in the room was very nice and my family and friends said everyone working there was very helpful with the room set up. Also it was very easy to work with the team in advance of the event. I would anyone considering hosting an event at Paramour to do so!

I absolutely love this place. I have only been for brunch, but it is my favorite place to go for brunch. The décor is beautiful. The service is spectacular and the food is amazing. The menu changes seasonally, but I always find something new to fall in love with. Keep up the great work!

Paramour is a must-go to restaurant! We were there for a wedding reception, and it was a wonderful experience! We had a delicious 5-course(or maybe 6!) tasting menu. The appetizers served during the reception, before dinner, were divine! The prosciutto wrapped bread sticks with cream cheese were out of this world. Of the dinner tasting menu, the scallops in butternut squash purée went perfectly with the time year as the wedding was in autumn. The sommelier, Steven, along with the servers really made the reception and dinner flow well; they were prompt, accessible and personable. Steve took individual time to explain where all the wines came from and why they paired with the food. Additionally, there was a Moroccan server who made us special tea from the region that wasn’t on the menu because he found out we recently traveled to North Africa. Overall, our experience at Paramour was delightful– amazing food, exceptional wait staff, beautiful venue. What more could you ask for!

We visited for happy hour on Sunday late afternoon. It has a nice interior décor and a nice ambiance. The service was good and some of the happy hour small plate menus were good. And of course some weren’t that good but overall we had a very nice evening.

Dinner for four on Wednesday night at 7:30. This is the restaurant that is part of the Wayne Hotel. Plenty of parking, offered front porch or indoor dining(it was chilly so we went inside) — and we were in immediately seated. Tables were very intimate and allowed easy conversation. Wait staff was great — main server knew the menu extremely well and offered great insight into the meal, sommelier did a very nice pairing with the meal, and all plates were presented at once to our table by several staff members. We opted for the tasting menu, and two guests tried the wine pairing(non premium wines were generous pours and very well thought out with the meal). Our testing menu: Squash soup amuse Bouche Beef carpaccio with marinated antipasti Lobster Atlantic char — very nice Pinot noir pairing here Braised short ribs — these were Michelin star quality — great sauce, melt in your mouth tender — just delicious Crème caramel — typical flan preparation A solid meal, an amazing wait staff, romantic setting in the Historic Wayne Hotel — a must dine place!

Since having moved to Philly in the last year, I have been here thrice so far, on the first two occasions for work-related events with my colleagues and on my most recent visit, with my wife for Sunday brunch. All things considered, the brunch I had today would rank among the most satisfying brunches I have ever had at a restaurant. Although finding parking at Paramour can be sometimes tricky, parking this morning was a breeze and we found a spot a few feet away from the entrance to the restaurant. Once we entered the restaurant, we were warmly greeted. The host gave us the option of sitting inside or out on the patio. Although it was fairly warm, the nice breeze sealed our decision to sit outside. Between my wife and I, we ordered a frittata and buttermilk pancakes. The attached pictures give you a sense of the portion size — very generous and the presentation — nice and appealing. Unfortunately, they don’t give you a sense of the taste but in my view, both dishes were simply amazing. The pancakes were soft and not overly sweet. Although maple syrup(either real /fake) is the usual accompaniment for pancakes, they had crème fraîche on top and it was subtle and a nice complement to the pancakes. My wife had the frittata and I tried to be reasonable in how much of it I had for myself :) It too was excellent. I appreciated their service also. The best service is one which gets around to refilling drinks as needed without interrupting the conversation of their patrons. Something that annoys the hell out of me is when servers repeatedly ask«Are you all done?» and I have to respond with«I am still working on it.»(As this review of Smith and Wollensky’s will confirm, I am not the only one who feels that way about service that’s just about omnipresent.) I am happy to say that Paramour’s service fit much more in the mould of «we are there if you need us, but we are not omnipresent». I was able to get four refills on my coffee and have our waters constantly refilled. Only once did we have to respond to a server, that we were still working on our meal and that is better than most other places where one seems to be in a constant battle with servers waiting to swoop down on plates and take them away before one can bat an eyelid. When it comes to thinking about the value of the brunch here, I would say that it was a pretty good value. The entrees were reasonably priced and the complementary appetizer bar was a welcome addition. Dinner prices are certainly steeper than their brunch prices but then again, if one is thinking of a special occasion and is willing to overlook the somewhat steep price tag, then the place likely will not disappoint. Speaking of me personally, I can’t wait to go back and have a weekend brunch again, this time perhaps trying out either their lobster roll or the lobster mac n’ cheese or their strawberry jam n’ chocolate sauce waffles.

My wife and I had dinner there last night. We sat on the porch, and the evening was perfect for such a comfortable setting. Drinks at the bar were half price wine and vodka drinks, but we really wanted to sit outside, so we missed out on that. I guess I really could have gone inside and had a drink, but I wasn’t really that interested so we sat on the porch and ordered a drink there. First, the bread they bring around was excellent, and very fresh. I took two pieces. They brought a butter that I believe had cherries mixed in. Seems different, but it was wonderful. We both ordered Caesar salads. They were crisp, cold, not over dressed, and actually pretty big. I never thought I would eat it all, but I finished my wife’s salad too. So much for thinking I couldn’t. Now, I didn’t know what to get for dinner, and our server said I would like the Rib Eye steak. Ok, I’ll have that. My wife got the Halibut. I have to tell you, it was the best… non grilled steak,(by that I mean conventional) I have ever had. First of all, it was a perfect cut. It was grilled perfect medium. But I never expected the rest of the presentation. It was in the most perfect reduction… I hate to call it a sauce or gravy. It had 4 gnocchi on top, with tiny little mushrooms, and the most perfect pearl onions I have ever eaten. There was a touch of blue cheese crumble in the reduction that I chased around the plate. Nicole, our server asked how I liked it, I told her it was the best rib eye I ever had. I never thought I would finish it, but I had to… it was so delicious. My wife’s halibut was excellent, I tried it. I only would say I like a little sear on the top of fish, which it did not have, but still excellent. I told Nicole, tell the chef how much I enjoyed his unbelievable version of rib eye. It’s a seasonal menu, changing with each season, so I’ll be back before fall begins to have this again. This meal made my top three meals ever. In no order, Louie’s back yard in Key West, Washington Inn in Cape May, and now, Paramour in Wayne Pa.

I have been here once. The atmosphere is elegant, and the food is good. The best part were the truffle fries! The waiter we had was also great. For some reason though, this restaurant does not stand out among its peers. I have nothing negative to say, and I would recommend it, but it would not be first on my mind.

Its 3 stars for value. I went there with my wife on a double date. The place is elegant and the food is good, but not 300 dollars worth. For that amount of money, go to the city or a better main line restaurant like Alba in Malvern. The beef cheek I had was unique and quite delicious but again, its not to special enough to justify the prices.

We watched the Belmont Stakes sitting at the bar yesterday. The décor is very nice and upscale. The bar service was good.(This restaurant is attached to/part of the Wayne Hotel.) Drinks were a tad pricey, as expected. I’ve been here for drinks before. Have not sampled the food. But, found the staff at the bar to be friendly and accommodating.

I recently had two lunches at Paramore and enjoyed both very much. My first lunch was on the deck outside. The service was outstanding and my lunch delicious. I had two different little sliders French onion soup and amazing truffle fries. There’s enough left over for hors d’oeuvres later on that night at home. Just yesterday I had lunch there again with a group of women for my friends birthday. I enjoyed the butternut squash soup, and for my entrée had the scallops in a cauliflower veloute with beets. The scallops were tiny but delicious and veloute was creamy and delicious as well. I have to say the service was friendly but spotty at best. We waited a while for our drinks to the point where we asked if we still had a server… For this kind of higher and restaurant this is questionable. Paramore is expensive for dinner but a great bargain for lunch. I’ve enjoyed the food every time I’ve gone.

Went Sunday night as our Valentine’s date night. The bartender was very helpful and friendly. Wish I had gotten her name to mention her here. The space is absolutely gorgeous. One of the most comfortable bars I’ve ever sat at. Felt more like Manhattan than Wayne. And Sunday happy hour too. We don’t typically care what the prices are. But, on the bartenders advice we shared a bottle of wine on special, had some bar bites and Duck Meatball Flatbread. Everything was very good, especially the flatbread. Total cost for a lovely dinner in a beautiful space… Just 60 bucks!!! This is THE best deal on the mainline. We will surely be back. Thank you.

I had the pleasure of dining at Paramour on Thanksgiving Day. Paramour is inside historic Wayne Hotel, and the dining room is spacious and classy. The restaurant was packed(good to know we weren’t the only ones not cooking on Thanksgiving), and service was a little scatterbrained, but fine. They had a prix fixe menu that we chose to opt out of. Someone in our party wanted a entrée only on the prix fixe, and the chef was able to accommodate us, thankfully. The olive bread given before the meal was delicious. We tried the Jersey Tomato and Claudio’s Mozzarella flatbread, and the tomatoes were really fresh. Claudio’s Burrata with Lancaster Mushrooms was great as well. I chose the Steak Frites with Parmesan Truffle fries and was not disappointed. Overall, a great dining experience in a classy place– great for special occasions.

Organic salad is great, order this every time. Duck duck goose: very nice portion of foie gras is worth it, duck confit wrapped in duck proscuitto is like a salami sized sausage and too rich to eat yourself, this dish is best shared. Crudo sampler is 6 individual portions and a fair sized plate The pork chop is one of the best I have ever had. This dish is what brought me back several times after.
