The Coffee Shop

I visited The Coffee Shop months ago, however, the employees haven’t been forgotten. They were extremely friendly and patient– given I was from out of town and indecisive as ever. The coffee was delicious as well as the sandwich I ordered for lunch. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Wayne, NE.

Definitely a «go to» place in Wayne. We toured the antique store next door and stopped for a cold drink. The smoothie and the iced coffee were well-​done. Both were not recipes on the menu — we told them what we wanted and they made the drinks.
Returned for lunch on Saturday after the big Chicken Show parade & the salads were excellent! Fresh greens and veggies and very tasting dressings.
The staff are upbeat and friendly, and we talked with the owners — great guys.

The Coffee Shoppe just re-​opened on Memorial Day under new management. Under the new direction, they have updated the furniture and the floors, opting for wood floors rather than the carpet that was previously there. They also added counters that look out onto the sidewalk in front of the shop from tall chairs. There’s also a greater integration of social media use (specifically Facebook), and the Coffee Shoppe melds very well with the adjoining thrift shop, Rustic Treasures.
I’ve gone to the Coffee Shoppe three times since the re-​opening, and the chocolate chocolate muffin paired with the Antigua drip coffee has been absolutely divine. It’s been rather crowded during the lunch hour, but the staff seems to keep up well as new orders roll in.

Best Sandwich shop in town! Locally owned and the people are wonderful. They also have soup and salads and a good selection of coffee drinks.

Best coffee, wonderful breakfast, friendly service; nice «small town diner» atmosphere. Love it here!

Great coffee, breakfast biscuits & gravy was adequate to say the least, pork sausage was good but bacon was the thinnest slices I ever seen! Prices were reasonable & service was ok. Cinnamon roll was humongous! Would go back if in the area again & hope we are!

Awesome place to sit and relax with a mocha! also excellent place to have a small meeting.
