Let me tell you why this retro chic ice cream bar, with additional offerings like coffee, donuts and soda, is udderly fantastic. Their ice cream flavors range from the ordinary, like chocolate, to the extraordinary like rhubarb or caramel stout and are sourced from small batch, high quality producers. The store is straight out of an Instagram photo; clean, bright and cheery and the staff are friendly and prompt. I highly recommend this place, will not disappoint.

Really really good ice cream! They carry ice cream from different vendors. The coffee ice cream was excellent. Just the right amount of sweetness. The blackberry chip was outstanding with large soft(er) chunks of dark chocolate. Nice staff that was knowledgable and very accommodating to our questions and requests regarding our kids allergy. Will definitely be back when in the area.

Deep down into an ice cream cavern below, beneath the retailing surface directly above, lie a steaming café. The coffee aerates from the walls via the local bean culdroners of ReAnimator. The ice cream is Amish god-breathed and the local creamery source locations, including Little Baby’s, are posted on the wall. In addition the vegan treat selections are a perfect compliment to the ice cream, I broke up my vegan brownie into my ice cream bowl. A wistfully wanting, wondrous, caffeinated, creamy world. Parking is the only enjoyment danger here.

Great place. Hard to find an old school place like this! Must try! Home made ice cream and yogurts! Really good and not that expensive!

This place is great — but now opens at noon each day. Coffee and donut shop that’s closed in the AM? I don’t get it.

The Wayne Coffee and Ice Cream Bar is a new favorite spot of mine. Not only do they offer ice cream from a variety of ice creameries they typically have on hand a vegan gluten free flavor from local ice cream ledged, Little Babies. I was especially excited when at my last visit, they started carrying gluten free cookies from Liz Lovely. I tried the Snicker Dude and was pleased with the taste and texture. More cake-like than cookie, this sugar cookie was drenched in cinnamon and pleased my palate.

I always stop here for ice cream after eating out at one of the great restaurants in Wayne. In the summer, it’s nice to sit outside with your ice cream, as this place is pretty small. They carry ice cream from a variety of places — I always get the cookie dough from Scooped. It’s a little on the pricey side but definitely adds to the experience of being out in Wayne. The only downside I can think of is that they occasionally run out of flavors and their winter hours are limited. Otherwise, it’s a great ice cream shop!

I don’t know if this place has been around for a while, but I am really glad I found it. It is trickery to find and has little to no signage except for the occasional chalk board. As soon as you walk down the steps, you realize that this reminiscent of a charming tucked away coffee shop with small tables lining the wall of the shop. I had a sugar cone with a single scoop of vegan chocolate ice cream(tastes like an Almond Joy because of the Coconut milk), which was delicious and more than enough. They have an impressive selection from up to 4 local creameries. Now that I’ve discovered The Wayne Ice Cream Bar, I’ll definitely be back with friends.

The black raspberry chip is delicious. The chip part tastes and feels like Hershey instashell. Also the mocha chip was good.

Absolutely loving this new spot! Came In a while back with my mom and unfortunately we came before close and didn’t have too many flavors to choose from so if you go, go early! But the staff is super nice and the atmosphere makes you feel great! *support local businesses!!***

The ice cream here is crazy delicious! I recommend it to anyone who is looking for quality ice cream in the area. It’s great for kids, there are seats outside, and there are tons of flavor options from local ice cream makers. We definitely intend to return often. I will say though, the seating is a tad uncomfortable for long periods of time.

Really really ridiculously good ice cream! The best flavor hands down is the cherry chocolate chip. The chips are actually soft chunks of dark chocolate. Next to each flavor they list the farm where the ice cream comes from. The place is tiny but cute and clean with friendly staff. They have some tables inside but we like to take it to go and stroll around Wayne while enjoying our treat :)

Such a fun spot! Ice cream is excellent — so is the peach bourbon oatmeal ice cream sandwich. Wasn’t a huge fan of the iced latte but I will give it another try soon. I will be back! :)

Definitely my favorite spot for a dip of ice cream after dinner on the main line. Fantastic choice of flavors. In fact last evening we ate out with friends in Bryn Mawr and drove to Wayne afterwards to get a sugar cone. The Wayne Bar is also the best spot in the area for a donut and a coffee. Love this spot. Don’t miss it. It’s in the Suburban building next to the Great American Pub on north Wayne ave– lower level.

This place needs to open back up… I guess they have not been able to get the electricity up and running since the mishap that happened on the block. I need my Graeter’s raspberry chip!!! It’s getting hot outside and the other places in the neighborhood just don’t have it. Besides serving amazing high quality ice cream, the service is always friendly and the place has a nice vibe for hanging out. We miss you wayne bar!

Had a very nice cup of coffee today that I felt compelled to write this review. I would give it five stars if the location was in a place that was easy to find. It took a while for me to find my way here, hence the loss of a star. But that shouldn’t deter anyone from giving this place a try. They have the best green street coffee I have ever tried, and believe me I’ve had plenty a try. I also liked the atmosphere here. They are very friendly and love to strike up a conversation. A jump in and out kind of person might feel at odds but I guess that’s just me. They cater well and that receives high points in my book.

Curious little parlor definitely worth checking out. They are in the«basement» of Vecchia pizza building, next door to Great American Pub, and directly across the street from Arde Osteria. They serve obscure ice cream brands with unique flavors, donuts from Lancaster, PA, and coffee beverages. The ice cream flavors change. Hidden/off the beaten path type of place that isn’t easy to spot off the street. The parlor is a little narrow so it’s tough to walk through when busy. It seems like the type of place one could escape to do work at except since they have 3 – 4 tables it may be inconsiderate to stay at one for too long. Service is friendly. It’s a small biz and the owner and her teenage son were at the bar when I was there.

Great ice cream! Never noticed the place before Stopped in after eating in down town Wayne. We walked in 7 minutes before they closed not realizing it. It looked like then just finished cleaning everything up. We apologized the the two young kids working there were very pleasant and happy to serve us. The place is neat we went for ice cream and apparently they buy ice cream from multiple local ice cream shops that make their own ice cream. So the Wayne bar does not make it but it is all home made as fairly local.(One was from Ohio) Tried three different flavors and they were all great. This will be a regular stop for us to end the night in Wayne. Apparently they have coffee and other stuff. Will have to stop in during the day!

Coffee was great — they carry green street coffee and some really fun locally made ice creams. It’s a good alternative to gryphon — which I find to be reallllly strong coffee sometimes. Staff was super friendly! I hope they can get a more visible sign so people can find it. They are tucked underneath little nest.

This a nice little space is the basement of a building. The donuts and ice cream are not made in house but they are very high quality stuff. The coffee beans were Green Street when I was there, which is really high quality stuff too. The problem with the coffee is nobody there seems to know how to operate the espresso machine. I’ve been here twice and both lattes I had were way off. One had virtually no coffee at all and another was full of coffee grounds. If you want coffee in Wayne go to Gryphon, but if you’re looking for a good donut or ice cream cone this is a nice option.
