This dance studio is by far the worst one I have ever been to. We switched studios due to a move. When we talked to the office about what we were looking for, they failed to say that if your child wanted to be in the Nutcracker, you had to be on call every Saturday between the beginning of October through the middle of December. Additionally, you would not know if you were needed until the Wednesday before. Please note this is for an elementary age child who has not chosen dance as her primary activity and is not on pointe. The studio rooms (2 of them) are really small and the waiting area is crammed. When you are inbetween classes, there is no where to move and with a younger daughter you cannot wait in your car. When my daughter attended classes for a little over a month, she had been dancing for 5 years, she did not like her class and begged to stop dancing. I have been a dance parent for over 10 years and this studio was unreasonable with what was expected for their younger dancers to participate in the Nutcracker and they seemed very chaotic with dance class times changing so much at the beginning of the year. When I spoke to the owner, she was very defensive and blamed my daughter and said she was not engaged and was distracting in class. If this were the cause, why did they not talk to me about it. But my daughter generally loves everything she does and loves getting to know people and we do not have behavior issues with her. We decided to leave the studio because my daughter and I both dreaded going there every week. The owner would not refund the money for classes we did not use and was very closed minded. I am very unimpressed with this studio and the lack of business sense of the owner. This was a waste of our time and money.
