I really love this place whenever I’m in town. Similar to Panera but more sandwich options(like at least 20) plus giant baked potatoes and awesome nachos. They also have yummy baked goods and desserts. Love their lemonade and my husband raves about their sweet tea. Prices are decent and you get a lot of food for what you pay for. Our favorites are their club and chicken salad but the best is their nachos. Recommend for a quick bite! They also do great catering.

Great soups and sandwiches. Food is always very fresh, service is average, restaurant is clean and convenient. Worth going back to.

The food is always good. The children’s menu for $ 1 alone is worth it. They honor military. Their cookies are big and soft. The portions are large. My gamily of 2 adults and 2 kids eat for under $ 20 each time.

This is a clean store with friendly service. McAlister’s has good consistency chain wide. The food here was very tasty. Prices here were a bit higher than in some other locations. The side on one of our orders was wrong, but it was a kid’s meal and they ate it anyway. Wait time on the food was a little longer than normal. But, they made the best Spud Max I have ever had.

We eat at this Mcalister’s a couple times a month. We love their tea and their sandwiches. Service is always friendly. Check out their secret menu on their website for a few hidden menu items. It surprises the cashiers when you order from this menu.

I take my family here once a week, mainly because it is one of the few healthy eateries in Waynesboro. Is it perfect every time no, however the staff is friendly and given how much we go i would say 9 out 10 times the food is great. I recommend the choose two options(½ sandwich + ½ salad). Their Reubens are great and so are the Nachos and Savannah Chopped salad, and don’t get me started on the sweet tea, it’s amazing and consistent!

Solid deli. their choose two option was a decent price, similiar to Panera. the McAllister club was good. fire roasted veg soup needed something but at least it was healthy. My husband commented that the italian sandwich and salads both had some weird elements to them such as mustard and Italian dressing on the sandwich and the italian salad is served with olive oil and vinegar dressing vs Italian dressing. the kids meal was decent too comprising of milk, sandwich cut up, potatoe chips and a bag of teddy grahams. the seating could be a challenge though especially for bigger groups. plenty of highchairs. changing tables in both mens and womens bathrooms.

I’m so glad I went here instead of fast food. It was reasonably priced and the portions were perfect. Definitely looking for this in other towns.

Went there 2 Sundays ago and had one of the best sandwiches ever. Roast beef with mild horseradish, cheddar, and caramelized onions. Makes my mouth water thinking about it. We decided to go back last Friday. Tried the Po boy Cajun shrimp. Either somebody else was working the kitchen, or the Po boy is a reminder it can’t be as good as it looks. No sauce, shrimp had no spices, I ordered with no cole slaw. So for $ 8.99 I got a 6″ sandwich with a lettuce leaf two mushy tomato slices and about 12 popcorn sized shrimp sautéed(more likely microwaved). I still like this place lots of sandwiches, will just take time to see which are good and which to avoid.

Being Vegetarian, finding a good sandwich is hard. My husband and I stopped by here before a hike, and the sandwich not only held up during the hike but is the best I have had in a long time.

Good place. Like the food, and I appreciate the good service. Only problem is that whenever I’ve gone, seating has been something of an issue, with it being somewhat challenging to find a seat. They could have probably done well with a bigger spot, but other than the seating issue, not bad.

Smaller than the one in Harrisonburg. The same clean and friendly restaurant that I’m used to at home. And love that sweet tea. Easy to access off of Interstate 64 and Route 340.

The food was alright. I wasn’t impressed but the soup was the best thing there. The salad was just alright too. I think this place was over priced for the quality of the food.

This address is wrong! If you map it you’ll wind up on a lovely little country road with no deli in sight.

I have been to several other McAlister’s and this one seems to be lacking something. It’s very clean and the front of the house staff is very nice and attentive, but the cooks looked like a gangly crew and very unamused with being there. The food was alright, but everything seemed to be missing a couple of the ingredients listed on the menu. WiFi was advertised in the window, but was not working when we were there. The seating outside is nice bonus and this is probably the only place in Waynesboro that you can score a healthy meal. I will probably keep going unless a better choice pops up.
