Biggest panera I’ve ever seen! It has a drive thru as well. Fast and friendly service!

The biggest Panera I’ve ever seen, it has a kids’ toy area, and several dining spots(tables, couches, fireplace area).

Why would such a popular place have so few or such slow staff working during the lunch hour? Slowest one I’ve ever been to.

Healthy delicious food, nice environment, just without waiters/waitresses. Fresh salad, good soup, delicious sandwich and fresh bread baked every morning. My family’s favorite lunch place. Quality control is very good. We’ve been to many Panera Bread. Every restaurant is very clean, food always same quality.

Just stopped in to get a dark roast, which ran out. It was not fresh and ran out. The cashier did not greet us. I used the restroom which was clean. The place was neat and not overly crowded

I will start by saying that we did go here on Mother’s Day, so I would expect it to be a little busier than normal. But along those same lines, you would think the restaurant would prepare for this by adding extra staffing. Also we visited around 8PM, so it should’ve been past the bulk of the Mother’s Day rush. I had been to this panera once before and didn’t have a great experience the first time but I thought, it may have just been an off day, I’ll try again. When we walked in tonight, there was a line almost the whole way to the door but I thought, usually at panera the line moves so quickly that it won’t take as long as it looks. Boy was I wrong. There was only one person ringing and let me tell you, he was in no hurry. When we finally did get up to the front to order, he was nice enough, but didn’t seem to notice the huge line accumulating. At every Panera I have ever been to there are usually 2 or 3 people on cashier and they move the line along as quickly and efficiently as possible. Not here. When we first got in, there were 3 people making the food. 2 additional people returned from break and were told to jump in quickly. I watched one of them put on an apron and gloves and start prepping food– without washing his hands. Yes, he had gloves on but it is definitely good practice to wash your hands after you have just come in from outside where you were presumably smoking. The people behind us in line had called an order in ahead of time and walked up to the manager to ask if they could just grab their food and pay and she told them they must wait in line to pay(and not in the nicest manner). It took us at least 15 minutes to get up to order and their order was ready when they arrived– they were just waiting to pay. There was no way that food wasn’t cold by the time they got to eating. Also kind of defeats the purpose of calling in an order ahead of time. We waited quite a while longer than I have ever waited at any other Panera for our food during which time we witnessed several people come up to the counter to complain about their orders being incorrect. When we finally got our food my fiances food was ice cold. And I’m not talking like it sat out a little long and it was not quite as warm as would have been ideal. I mean someone just pulled it straight out of a freezer and slapped it on a sandwhich cold. My food, however, was great. So maybe just a fluke. The trashcans and dish areas were all overflowing. I have worked in food service and know that there are days that just seem to get ahead of you and nothing seems to go right, but to have this experience twice and for literally every single step of the experience to be this bad was not acceptable.

It is extremely clean and big. Perfect for large gatherings. Even the couple sitting next to me didn’t bother me because the tables are not right on top of each other like some Panera’s I’ve been to. My soup was lukewarm. It was good, and edible, but I’d like it piping hot like soup should be. That’s why this isn’t a 5 star review.

This location is HUGE. We stopped by last weekend while driving to Roanoke from Virginia Beach. I wanted something healthy so we kept an eye out for Panera. I knew there was one near here off the interstate so we took the exit and ended up here. I have never seen a Panera with a drive through before. It is what we used some I had my dog in the car and it was too hot to leave him(English bulldog). I ran inside to use the bathroom and saw that this place has like three separate seating areas for eating which are separated into different dining rooms. My Cobb salad was good(minus the chicken which I got on the side and gave to my boyfriend) and I got the summer corn soup. Mmm. Very polite drive through attendant who was patient and helpful in answering my picky boyfriends questions about the menu.

While I’m not obsessed with everything on the menu(and that’s true for all locations of this chain restaurant), you can’t go wrong with their soups or bagels and flavored cream cheeses. Love, love, love the broccoli cheddar in particular and they have it daily. The drive-thru is also a nice touch, I have not seen this at Panera in other cities. Service was good when I’ve been there as well other than a mix up with my bagel order once. I’m not much on their sandwiches and salads though and some of their sweets and coffees are a bit bland. Try the acai berry tea if you like fruity drinks.

My family and I went through drive-thru last night and were told to pull ahead because they were waiting on mac and cheese to cook. Twenty minutes and four cars(passing us) later, I went in to see what the heck was taking so long. «We are still waiting on the mac and cheese». Needless to say, my husband went in and demanded a refund. Our food was finally given to us… cold. And, the mac and cheese tasted like it was out of a Kraft box. I would NOT recommend this Panera’s!

Holy be-jeebus, this place is HUGE! And what a view! I about had a heart attack when I saw there was a stinkin’ drive-thru — really, that may have been the most transformative experience of my ENTIRELIFE. The inside of this Panera is bigger than many big-name chain stores that are typical«sit-down service». The food and the service are the sam as most Paneras across the board, 4 stars because, well, the drinks station was kind of gross.

This is a brand new restaurant as I write this review, so they are still working out a few kinks. The one I hope they fix really soon is seasoning the dishes, especially salting the pasta water properly, because you just cannot add enough salt to already prepared pasta, and it isn’t healthy to do that way, either. I had one of their pasta dishes and it was fixed perfectly al dente, which was a treat – but bland-bland-bland because of the water not being salted. The consistency of the pasta was excellent, done just right. I also had french onion soup, which was tasty. My husband had their BBQ salad but didn’t care for the salad dressing & said he would choose something else next time. I should add that he is very difficult to please with salad dressings. We are going to give them some time to work on seasoning their food up to par, then return. The atmosphere is great, wi-fi is nice to have available for figuring out which movies to see or rent while we munch & chat. The staff was cheery & very attentive, and the restaurant is clean & cozy.
