This just is not as good as with the previous owners. $ 22 for two sandwiches, two fries and two drinks. Might be worth if it they were good, but one sandwich left a greasy residue on your hands and the other might has well have been a lettuce sandwich. Fries were underdone — inedible. Not worth the $$$.

The staff was friendly and helpful despite the busy crowd. The food was really good. Our table had a shared fries, Carolina burger sub, steak wrap, meatball sub, and cheese burger sub. The fries were seasoned and perfect amount of crunchy.
The restaurant was clean and bustling. There were two dining areas. One near the register which seemed crowded. And a space up some steps which seemed more roomy. The TV had some retro cartoons playing. And the décor was country casual.
Overall I would recommend for the good food. Get some fries. you will thank me!

We sort of ran into this shop by accident. Talk about serendipity, the food was delicious. I have eaten there a half dozen times and the only time I have been disappointed was when they were closed. If you need a quick, easy, and delicious lunch; go there. There will be something on the menu you will enjoy. I have searched for a good chili cheeseburger for years. Who would have it would be in Waynesville? Just order the Carolina classic. Yes; it’s that good.

Great people and great food! Nice, relaxed atmosphere. I RARELY give 5 stars, but I cannot think of one thing they could do better! I can’t even pick a fave, and have a hard time choosing every time!

Came to this small, local shop for a quick lunch while on vacation in Waynesville. The service was quality and everything was cooked to order.
I had the cheese steak, which had a great flavor to it and plenty of meat. My parents split a Reuben, which was great although it was served on white sub bread by default.
Take away: if you want a certain kind of bread or topping, they probably have it — you just need to ask for it!
Overall, this place has very good food and if you’re looking for a quick or casual lunch in the Waynesville area, I would recommend it.

Bacon pimento cheeseburger on pretzel bread: OMG! Best burger of my (long) life! Cute place, fast service for eat-​in or to-​go. Also had pastrami and cheese on multigrain: excellent sandwich. Highly recommend!

Visiting from out of town and needed a quick bite to eat and came across this place on Unilocal… And the reviews did not let me down. Subs were fantastic and reasonable priced especially if you are picking from their monthly specials (12in sub for under $ 5). Tried the fried bologna and cheese and my wife had the chicken bomb and both were fantastic!
The location was great as well, right in downtown Waynesville, beautiful place in the mountains during the colorful fall!

Love this place! Right in the heart of downtown waynesville. So quant, cute and everyone was so courteous! They have insane specials too! Burger for $ 5, yes please! 12inch sub for $ 3.99 done! Def a great lunch spot :)

FANTASTIC! WOW!
Fiancé and I tried them out on a whim and all I can say is WOW! Great prices, great service, and even better GREAT subs. The owners are very polite and friendly, and the staff is super courteous. I can’t get over this gem of a sub shop. It just pays to stay local.

Best sandwich in Waynesville for sure… fresh…authentic…the Philly cheese steak is a wow! In season they top with cooked ramps by request… only open at lunch… but you gotta respect they do it right!
