This is a great bakery for people with food allergies. They cook with canola oil and butter.

I went there for lunch today and must say it was fantastic. I had a Cuban sandwich panini and it was great. I took a chocolate éclair and peanut butter cookie home. Great service and great food what more could you ask for. Dan Merrimack, NH

I’ve driven by quite a few times over the last 2 years & finally stopped to give it a try. I picked out 2 different kinds of cookies & a cinnamon roll. They were ok but really nothing all that special(IMO). I don’t see me stopping again.

This bakery is fabulous! The name is a bit of a misnomer; It’s «just like mom’s» if mom was a French pastry chef. I live in Concord, but work in Weare. I discovered Just Like Mom’s when a colleague brought one of their cakes to work. I told my husband that I wanted my birthday cake this year to come from Just Like Mom’s instead of the bakery we’ve been going to for 20 years. It is well worth the extra mileage. He got me the black forest cake and it’s as good, if not better, than even those of German bakeries in New York City where I grew up. The cakes are as beautiful as they are delicious! There are cookies and other treats that a mom would make, but the cakes are baking at its finest. I can’t say enough about this place. If you live in either Concord or Manchester, this place is worth the drive!

They made us a birthday cake and it was delicious. Moist and flavorful, and decorated nicely. MUCH better than Fredericks Pastries. I will add that I bought a pork pie over the holidays when a time crunch prevented me from making my own, it was basically lacking any seasoning and was very very bland. A sad disappointment.

Love this place! Great breakfast sandwiches. Croissants are made in house along with everything else. My wife and I have tried pretty much everything they offer and we’ve never been disappointed. Pecan pie is unreal! It would be a great destination for a Saturday drive.

If you haven’t been to Just Like Mom’s … what are you waiting for? The owners are kind and friendly, the staff is welcoming and helpful. The pastries, cakes and pies are amazing. Whether you stop in for a coffee and morning pastry/breakfast sandwich, or to grab a dessert you will not be disappointed. I love the croissants… really love the croissants. And of course, they have New England’s best Whoopie Pies according to everyone I know and Yankee magazine. Enjoy!

Make sure to ask for their piña colada smoothie. It’s the best.

Wow this place is amazing. The whoopie pies are as advertised. Their bacon, egg and cheese croissant puts anyone elses to shame. All their backed goods are fresh and homemade. The little café is very homey and the prices are pretty reasonable. I just wish they were open on a Sunday.

Neat little bakery/café in Weare. Just Like Mom’s Pastries was voted Best Whoopie Pie in New England by Yankee Magazine. All I can say is, I’ve had many whoopie pies, but the whoopie pies made here are definitely the cream of the crop! My favorite whoopie pies are the chocolate mousse and peanut butter, which have a sweet creamy filling and go great with coffee. They also have on display: cakes, pies, pastries, napoleons, cupcakes, and mini cheesecakes. There’s also a freezer stocked with homestyle dinner items, bake your own pies, cheesecakes, and cakes. Besides the baked goods, they have Green Mountain Coffee, cold drinks, breakfast sandwiches, quiche, sub sandwiches, wraps, soups, and salads. There’s a cozy dining room to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or a light snack. Definitely worth the drive from Manch for the awesome whoopie pies!
