Best kept secret in Parker county! #1 on Trip Advisor! Freshly baked Jalapeño sourdough buns! The large is probably the biggest burger I’ve ever seen! Everything they serve will pleasantly surprise you but you may want to go early. The line gets a little crazy around noon and there’s limited seating.

Made to order, this place truly cares about everything that they put out. Everything I’ve had here has been fantastic. It is a true gem of a place and a special find for anyone that may be passing through the area. Be sure to try out their soups and home made breads as well. Try their BLT-it’s the real deal. My mouth waters thinking about this place!

Oh my gosh, what a cool place. Let me start off with PIE. We had a slice of the cowboy pie and it was sublime. Too many delish things in it to explain but just trust me – you’ve got to try it! My husband got the Texas Melt on jalapeño bread which consisted of roast beef with bbq, cheese, etc. I got just a straight up cheeseburger. Both were served on homemade bread and both were AWESOME. I must say that the burger was better, and it was also as big as my head. I ate a third and my husband ate the rest plus some of the melt but we had to throw in the towel. It was a lot of food — but I’m not complaining. Very impressed with the quality, the menu, the deliciousness and the PIE. Also the service. Ok, with everything! I highly recommend this place.

Upon walking in, you are greeted with beautiful pastries(Texas size) and fresh baked bread! I finally decided to order the tomato, basil, mozzarella, although I love my meat at every meal. But!!! Much to my enjoyment, this sandwich exceeded my expectations and I didn’t even miss the meat. It was delicious and flavorful, perfect amount of basil and cheese. Ah! It was perfect! And! The CARMELSPICECAKE and CHOCOLATECAKE were absolutely to die for! Plenty of cake to serve 4 adults, lots of sugar, but caramel oozing from the cake with homemade, real buttercream. Ah! It was heavenly! Must eat there!

First time there today. Best club sandwich I’ve ever eaten. I had the small one and it was enough. Oh, be sure to get whatever sandwich you order on the toasted jalapeño bread. When you go there get the chocolate peanut butter chess pie. You will be so glad you did. They serve until they run out of food so go early. If the weather is mild, you should sit outside as the atmosphere is nice. They also have kids meals and I can recommend the ham and cheese or the PBnJ. Both enjoyed by my kids.

A friend from work had told me the food there was excellent, although there was always lines to get in. He mentioned that the place was rated number 1 out of 118 places to eat in Weatherford by trip advisor. We were working, and went there for lunch during the week. We were lucky! No lines, plus a lot of cool stuff and antiques to explore! I ordered the small grilled tomato basil mozzarella melt with jalapeño bread. It came with a pickle and was delicious. Service was fast enought. Next time I want to try the turkey Avocato sandwiche that my friend had, it looked amazing!

Would love to be able to review the food, however I’ve tried THREE times to eat here and the line is always ridiculous and does not move fast enough for lunch time. Maybe one day.

I’ve been three times now, all on Friday’s, and gotten the special. A pulled pork sandwich that is to big to eat, with chips, soup, and a soda for about $ 10. And seriously, the cookies are to die for. They are the best I’ve every had; salted caramel and the oatmeal cranberry white chocolate were my favorites. Kids meals are cheap at $ 4, atmosphere is awesome.

This little hidden diner is the best place in Texas. My husband and I showed up near closing time, so they were out of their special pulled pork and only had one bun left. So we ordered cold sandwiches. I ordered a club on wheat and he ordered a BLT with avocado on jalepeno bread. The sandwiches were huge(and we ordered smalls). The bacon was thick and cooked just right. Both sandwiches were excellent. I recommend going early so you can have a full menu option. We didn’t order desserts, but they looked mouth watering delicious.

Neat little restaurant. I didn’t even know it was there until I saw it on Facebook. We had 2 burgers, 2 bags of chips, 2 cans of coke and a slice of pie for almost 35.00. The burgers are huge and flavorful but the Mississippi mud pie was just too sweet for me even my one year old was spitting it out. It’s a neat little place to visit at least once. I like to support local businesses.

Tasty and fun! Great food. This burger beats Kincaid’s and is best I have ever had. I tried the BLT on my last visit and it was great. My husband raves about the pulled pork. But what makes this place the best in the area is the atmosphere. Come to eat, stay to shop. Win win for customers and owners alike! Will come back OFTEN!

I am one that loves to find off the beaten path places! Stopped at this place today and all I can say it’s super cute! Great sandwiches, lots to look at and lots of neat old things to buy! Homemade bread, pies, cookies and the best potato soup I’ve ever had! If you like neat little places try this one!

Visited The Shed on Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Seating: five large(seats six) tables with comfortable seating and about eight booths which allow your chin to rest on the table without bending. Ambiance: tucked in the back side of the ‘Stove Store’. If you are looking for a 1930’s telephone switchboard complete with dust from 1930 – 2015, your search is over. The restaurant is the reason this place has licensed vehicles in front. Very friendly staff. This place is BUSY at 12:30 with lots of takeouts from nearby medical facilities. The menu: mostly burgers in various combinations, flat grilled. I ordered the Reuben($ 10) with the large being $ 2 more than regular. Very happy. Juicy. Your order is served in a paper lined basket. My basket had hot juice drippings when I lifted the mammoth creation to my tiny 230 pound frame. My friend ordered the tomato mozzarella basil panini with bacon(if you ask, they will make it delicious; of course there is a nominal upcharge). I would definitely order what she had then next time. I also had a cream of red pepper soup, which I believe was made from scratch($ 3). I happen to sprinkle with coarse black pepper liberally on my mashed potatoes and eggs. This soup came seasoned, so if you prefer a more subtly seasoned cream soup, you may want to ask for a sample. Disappointment: I do wish they would flame grill their burgers, though. Dessert: Get one to bring home with your sandwich. Only the 20 – 30 age group can finish their sandwich in one sitting. I ordered the crème brulee cupcake(they are filled) and my friend ordered the peach pie turnover($ 4 each). They also had a pink lemonade cupcake that caused a careful weighing of the choices. We were both pleased. Local lore: if you are in Weatherford Texas, you should stop to see Chandor Gardens($ 5/adults, great short diversion for seniors with shaded benches and splashing fountains). It is maintained by Master Gardener volunteers from the area. If you ask about a place to eat, any of the volunteers will readily acknowledge that The Shed is an excellent choice. Conclusion: Traveling Abilene-Fort Worth or just have some spare time and like a change of pace, The Shed is a great place to experience.

Just«WOW.» Today is my first time at The Shed, and my mouth and stomach are deeply regretting all the missed opportunities! I ordered the Turkey Melt(chunks of juicy smoked turkey with melted Swiss) on toasted jalapeño bread… hands down, one of THEBEST sandwiches I’ve had in my world travels. After seeing another patron’s lunch, I can’t wait to go back and try their huge, juice-dripping burgers!

It horrible! Please don’t go! That way I won’t have to fight you for a place in line! Get there early or plan to wait. Great food, set menu of hot and cold sandwiches, burgers and salads. Fresh baked breads and desserts. I’m there at least twice a week!

I ate there for the first time today at lunch and all I can say is wow!!! I got the Texas melt. The roast beef was marinated and super juicy and the jalepeno bread just made whole sandwich. The line was long but well worth the wait.

This is a cool little spot to grab a bite to eat as you are surrounded by interesting and over-priced antiques to look at. Their hamburgers are fresh and delicious, however despite the good food… I will not be coming back. We stood in line over 30 min before we were finally able to order our food. This place just cannot handle a large crowd. Finding a place to park was a challenge, and I think a fight was about to break out over two groups of people waiting for a table to open up. Plus, never in my life have I been charged for a cup of tap water until I came here. They also do not have french fries. What kind of burger joint doesn’t serve french fries?

A fantastic sandwich shop. Club sandwich on fresh bread, big and delicious. Red potato soup some of the best I have ever had. Small and noisy, long line, worth every minute! Took home a huge peach fried pie which was so good. Horrible parking but I’ll be back!
