What can I say about Blue Mountain? I feel like I’m coming home every time I walk through the door. The pizza is so good, the garlic knots are a must, and if you are lucky enough to be there when the French onion soup is on the menu, you have to order it. This small town, adorable restaurant pays living wages and sends out a terrific newsletter loaded with amazing deals. They make their own delicious beer and always have a nice rotation of other drafts, as well. Thursday is spaghetti night… you just can’t pass up this great deal… although I just love their pizza so much. It’s always packed for dinner and I try to go for lunch during the week. When I brought my six-month old, our server Randy was so great, offering to warm up a bottle in the kitchen and even held my son while we got settled. I can’t explain how warm and welcoming this place is… it will always have a special place in our hearts.

So glad we stopped in here! This pizza place is great. They also serve delicious beer which they brew themselves, as well as a few taps of other beers and ciders. I had a cider and a slice of pepperoni mushroom, and my fiancé had their stout and a slice of pepperoni and we were both very happy. The pizza was the perfect combination of crispy crust and melted cheese, with solid topping distribution. They used the real fresh mushrooms, not the nasty stuff from the jar that tastes like rubber. We sat at the bar and chatted with the bartender who was also engaged. Overall, it was a very friendly atmosphere, delicious food, and a reasonable price range. Next time we’re in Weaverville, it will be hard to not pull into this place first thing! We also saw that they have family spaghetti dinner night for less than $ 25 you can feed a family of 4 with salads and a massive pile of pasta. Not too shabby for a night out with the family!

Best pizza in North Buncombe. The dine in experience is usually crowded, but the staff is friendly so no problem there. They have live music several nights a week and deliver to the locals… lucky us!

Great atmosphere. Although expect a wait. We end up passing it up fairly often because I don’t want to wait. But I do enjoy the close proximity to your neighbors table and the family friendly environment. We often end up chatting with the people besides us. Pizza is good. Not my favorite crust, but still yummy. I know many people who love the crust, so I may just be picky. Lots of good toppings to choose from. Pizza prices are in line with other sit down pizza joints. I love the nachos, but have someone to share them with. They are huge. Love that you can get pizza by the slice at almost any time. Not just lunch. Also I highly recommend going for drinks and catching on off the shows there. Although I enjoyed that option sans kiddos.

This place is super crowded(and it’s a small space). Definitely skip pasta night. It’s the worst spaghetti I’ve had; overcooked noodles and sauce that taste like the cheap stuff from a supermarket. The garlic knots are hit or miss. When they are good, they are delicious. When they are bad, you will wish you didn’t waste your money. The pizza is pretty good, but I’d say the main reason for going here is for the live music.

Chicago deep dish pizza? Ha. The only thing I can compare it to is soup served in a bowl of burnt bread with too sweet tomato soup/sauce, cheese and your topping. A hot mess so far from deep dish pizza it’s frightening. Will not ever return.

The coolest little pizza joint on the planet. I very much agree. Great local brews, the garlic knots are fantastic, but large, and the deep dish pizza is to die for. It’s a small place, with friendly folks and a good vibe. Definitely a must go for those in the Asheville area.

Legit, the best pizza I’ve had, ever. Garlic knots are perfectly fluffy and not too crunchy on the outside.

Pizza and more. What a great pizza joint! Loved the Garlic Knots! Then we had the Cow Tipper Pizza. Steak, caramelized onions, red peppers, and loads of cheese topped with a drizzle of A1 sauce. Wow! What a great combo. So many choices! If I lived in the area would be a regular for sure

So I live right up the street from this place. It’s always crowded. On the weekends its about 45 to an hour wait at peak dinner time. Honesty, its just not worth the wait. It’s not bad. It’s not great. Very greasy. like to the point your stomach hurts after and your whole body feels like a trash bag. Idk, of I just needed quick take out one night, I might go back but there is def better pizza.

Small place with a warm atmosphere. You can just see the live music happening in the corner with all the locals coming ’round. Tables were odd… too big for a 2 top… too small for 4. I was locking elbows with the party next to me. Little shuffling needed to happen there. Ordered a house salad, was decent. Ordered a pizza with pesto. The taste was great… but it was soggy. So the ingredients fell off and then you just had some wet pizza.

I love this place for pizza! If you like hand tossed crust that is not thin, and awesome toppings go here! Service is always nice even when they are busy. Of course if you hate crowds don’t go on the weekend. Don’t be shy try the«white album» pizza it’s our favorite.

Stopped here for a late lunch. I was excited to have a lunch date with my husband. This is located in very charming downtown Weaverville, NC. Seriously, its lovely walk around. We had to wait for them to decide where to seat us… it was EMPTY! I ordered the Saturday lunch special; a slice and a salad. It was okay. I hate to say, it’s just pizza. I had been dying to try this place, so many good reviews. It’s overhyped. It isn’t a big place. I would never go with a group. I will say the service happening at the bar was amazing. The two employees working the bar REALLY enjoy their jobs. Experience may have been different if we sat at the bar. I might return…

Updating my review based on their delivery service. Order tonight took 2 hours to make it to our house. Pizza is cold. One is burnt. The other wasn’t prepared correctly. No, we didn’t call a manager because honestly it isn’t worth it. They should just stop delivering. They don’t seem to be able to handle it. Bummer.

I ate there for lunch today with my husband, we sat out on the porch, it was very homey and I loved the small town feel. I got a slice with salad and a pint of their pale ale that they brew downstairs. One slice is more than enough, it’s actually more like ¼ of a small pizza. My hubby had the turkey sub and it was delicious(I had to steal a bite).

Awesome pizza, great beer, great waiter, and awesome atmosphere with live music. Well worth the wait for table inside. Sitting on the porch drinking a beer or soda taking in the town and sights made the time pass quickly. Will be back for sure! Pizza was amazing! Got half Olympus and half Banks classic. 3 of us eating jumbo and few slices to take home but not much. Was that yummy! Waiter was transplant from Michigan and helped us pick and was spot on for how delicious pizza would be! Glad my friend is moving to the area cause I can’t wait for my return trip. Will be looking forward to the pizza and beer just as much as time with my friend!

Stopped here for a late lunch on our way back from Mars Hill. I love the Weaverville downtown area very quaint! We were able to literally park across the street from Blue Mountain Pizza and walk right in. This place is pretty small so not great for large groups and probably crowded throughout certain times of the day/weekend. I chose their lunch special which included a house salad or cup of soup with a slice of pizza with 2 toppings for $ 8. The salad was extremely fresh and a nice portion size for the lunch special. The pizza slice was fairly good size but a little dry on the sauce for my taste. The pizza was thin and crust was ok not great. I think if the pizza would have had more sauce I would have enjoyed it more. The wait staff was excellent and very friendly. Good place for a quick bite but a little over priced for what I got.

After finally buying a house in the Weaverville area, this is my new go to place for pizza… and a little live music in the Asheville bedroom community of Weaverville. Small and initimate, they have a small bar a little stage and a small amount of outdoor seating. Yes the nosy level can be elevated when it is busy, but the folks behind the bar and the wait staff have always been for me on the ball, friendly and helpful for all my meals here. Of course, their pizza is the thing I always order and its very good! I highly recommend it. The only thing I’d say is that they don’t stay open late during the early weekdays so if you have a 10:30pm urge hit you you may have to wait till the next night *grin*. Proud to have such a great place in my little town.
