First off i totally agree with the people complaining about the internet service provider. You are forced to get your TV/​internet from direct TV and direct path. I guess they are kind of the same company but separate bills and both are horrible. Good luck trying to get anyone on the phone when your internet goes out. On top of that I’m woken up at 7am every morning when my upstairs neighbor gets up (i assume for work) and his massive dogs start running around. I work a mid day shift and would love to once at lease be able to get a few more hours of sleep. I’m guessing they used cheap building materials when they constructed this place because i can hear them walking from the kitchen to the bedroom. Don’t get me started on those horrible dogs (have to be over the weight limit). Find a place that give you options for your ISP supplier and also one where you cant hear everything your upstairs neighbors do.

I love living here! Maintenance is always so fast and great work. Girls at office are all super nice and work really hard. Valet trash 5 days a week! Couldn’t get any better!!!
I’ve lived in many apartments in the past 8 years and this one is by far the best.
Lived here for 7 months now still loving it, never had any issues!

I’ve just moved in these apartments. I can say that the model apartment shown was not the apartment quality that I am currently in. I inquired about a recycling program and they currently do not have one. It’s 2015. I wish they would get with the times. It would greatly reduce the trash collection costs.

People sure do rate apartments harshly. I’m currently looking for a place in Portland, but am getting frustrated reading reviews… every apartment complex has crappy reviews! I figured that not everyone can really be so disappointed with where they live so I said, let me check the reviews at Avana. I spent 4 years there before moving to Oregon a month ago. I loved Avana! I loved my apt, the location & the staff. Laura (mgr) was always more than super awesome! Turnover in the office was evident but not high, and Laura has been there before & after me. Concerns were addressed promptly and I was always treated very well. My neighbors were all super cool. So I highly recommend this place. Now that I see that only unhappy people rate apts, I am even more frustrated… how can I find a decent place in Portland if the reviews can’t be trusted? If anyone reading this has rented in Beaverton or Portland & has recommendations, I’m getting desperate here! Lol
