This place was pretty good, I liked it a lot. Came here on our way back to Houston from NASA. Coffee was good and I had this super duper vegetarian(vegan) sandwich that was so hearty I was like whoa! I’ve been trying to duplicate it at home. Bathrooms were clean, service was good. It’s better to come here than Starbucks! I didn’t try the neat looking cookies/chocolate but they looked Delish.

I ordered an iced latte and the S’more crêpe. It was delicious! The order was misheard as icebox cake. When we realized the mistake as my food was brought out it was fixed immediately and courteously. They even allowed me to take the cake to go, as it had already been sliced. I would definitely come back! Good atmosphere, good music, delicious food!

This place is amazing. Such great service and so many options to choose from on the menu. I definitely will be going back to try some new things! First time trying a macchiato but I’m sure it won’t be my last. Thumbs up Barbazzar!

Great coffee and breakfast options. The bread for the egg sandwich is awesome, multigrain, soft and just toasted perfectly for the crunch.

Came here for lunch with a friend before she moved to Dallas; we knew we wanted to go somewhere we could have lunch, and be able to sit and chat and catch up and enjoy some girl talk. This place totally fit the bill! I ordered the grilled cheese and just got water, although the frothy coffee drinks sure looked good! Actually the chocolate cake looked good, but I resisted. Kinda wish I hadn’t! We stood at the menu deliberating for a while, as I had never been there and my friend had just ordered coffee on a previous visit. But the guy at the counter was super nice and told us to take our time, and waited patiently for us. You order at the counter from the menu on the wall and they give you a table number and bring your food out to you. So we ordered and I got the grilled cheese with a fruit cup, and man this was the BEST grilled cheese ever. It was havarti cheese, cheddar cheese, bechamel and a bacon tomato jam on whole grain bread. It came with your choice of a side and a pickle for $ 8.00. I just got water so not too bad for a lunch and like I said, it was freaking delicious! I had to show everyone at work my photo the next day and rave about it… It’s a neat little place that is really a chill place to hang out with super friendly people. I would definitely come here again for lunch, or a sweet snack. I’m not a huge coffee drinker, but might try it as it looked and smelled good! I will be back for sure!

this place is good for the lattés, but as a college student on a tight budget I am not too fond of the prices of the food there. I think it’s pretty cool that they sell their own coffee beans and merchandise but I haven’t bought one yet. I’m not a fan of the small space, there’s more room outside to sit but Texas weather around this time is either humid and rainy or dry and scorching hot so it wouldn’t really make sense to have more outdoor seating space than indoors. However, I must say the latte art is cute! I think this place has the potential but I’m not entirely sure what the theme is as a customer. I do love that they have a drive thru and their hours. Will stop by again

Ive come here on 3 separate occassions and every single time, ive been mistreated by the staff. On 2 occcasions, ive had to wait for the workers to finish their conversation before exclaiming«excuse me!» to be helped. The third time, i asked for a muffin and it took 15 minutes to get it out to me(my S/O and i actually timed it) and he and i actually finished our coffees before we received it. Apparently they had forgotten, then they sent it to the wrong table, then they forgot again. The coffee is mediocre and the food is not something id get again. HOWEVER, it’s a cute little café with awesome décor. Loved having a conversation there. Which is why it got 2 stars!

I needed a quick caffeine boost the other day so I stopped in and had arguably the best iced caramel macchiato of my life. I wish I had been hungry though, after seeing all the food they had to offer. I didn’t even know they had food but I will definitely be back to try it. Barbazzar has a great vibe to it and is a perfect spot for dates, reading, small get togethers and even business lunches. I even had a chance to speak with the owner who seemed like a cool guy with a unique vision of the new-age coffee shop. I highly recommend everyone to stop in and check out what Barbazzar has to offer.

I’m very happy that Clear Lake finally has more to offer than Starbucks. Barbazzar has great ambiance, friendly baristas, great coffee, and a plethora of dessert options. The interior is beautiful as well. I would recommend this spot for people shopping at Baybrook who want a latte break or UHCL students looking for a study spot. The only reason I gave them four stars is because the barista forgot to bring our chocolate bread pudding.

Such a cute and trendy spot in the Webster area! I have only been to Barbazzar twice, but I’m already in love with it! Every time I’m in the area, I have to make a stop. The first time I stepped inside the building, I noticed the chocolate bark selection in the glass case next to the cashiers. They had a large assortment of bark combinations that ranged from traditional chocolate to nostalgic white chocolate with teddy grahams. I suppose it was nostalgic for me since I use to love eating teddy grahams at daycare after a long day of school. The menu was easy to understand. I ordered the salmon crêpe because who does not love the salmon/dill/caper combo? In addition, I decided to try the Bb mocha with soy milk which is one of their signature coffee drinks. The cashier was extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the products which made it even easier to make a decision. It did not take long for the drink portion of the order to come to our table. In my opinion, the Bb mocha was AMAZING(I do like slightly sugary coffee drinks so that might affect your own personal opinion, but nevertheless — it is worth giving a try regardless)! The only thing I found unpleasant about the crêpe was the ratio of red onions to salmon and capers, but that is the only aspect that I found negative(if it is even considered negative). My next visit included a similar ordering process, but I decided to order the salmon salad with a cappuccino. The salad was a perfect size! I thought the dressing was extremely tart, but it paired well with the chili flakes and avocados. Again, the coffee drink was delicious. From the modern décor to the quality of the food, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for something different that does not resemble any other café in the area!

Like all coffee places it has its pros and cons. I go there mostly to read. I love the atmosphere there — not quite Agora but it has a quaint quality to it. Service for the most part has been pretty good — you get the occasional new hire still learning the ropes to which a little patience should be afforded. The quality of the coffee and pastries has always been consistently high. Its a good date place as I have seen a lot of dates there — hard not to people watch a little in between chapters. I would recommend giving it a try. If you have the blueberry muffin definitely have it warmed up — makes a huge difference.

I tried the honey lavender latté today, it was great just like all the lattes I’ve had here. We come here once a week from Pearland(20 miles). We’ve been here at least 30 times in the last 6 months. We enjoy the patio pretty much every Sunday. There is always a breeze, good tunes, birds chirping, large oak trees swaying– we sit there for at least an hour. It is the thing we crave each Sunday. Add to that the crepes, savory or sweet, great sandwiches(enough for leftovers) and the cool ambience and it’s the makings of a chill European-esque day. Only reason for 4 out of 5 stars: cleanliness of restrooms could be improved and sometimes slow the service is slow. Nothing that bad, just room for improvement to an otherwise cool hangout spot with delicious lattes!

Lacking flavor despite trying so hard Presentation is nice. Atmosphere is quaint Cappuccino presented very nicely with heart leaf, tiramisu was good size, crème brûlée had minimal crisp, and fresh fruit The mocha frappé was my favorite, despite the frozen coffee! I prefer my coffee beverages hot. The mocha frappé had good smooth texture and fulfilling flavor.

Ok so I am so glad to have an alternative to Starbucks. Nothing wrong with Starbucks but I like variety and I like local. I went here for coffee. First off its a really cool building with a nice vibe to it. Clean and modern. Started with a Cappuccino which was not a bad deal at 3.75. It came in a nice small ceramic cup on a saucer with a littler spoon. Foam art was good and I though the amount of foam and steamed milk was better than Starbucks. The espresso flavor came through good and I don’t know what kind of espresso it was but the flavor was great. Since I had time to kill I ordered a Coronado. This came in a small glass with on a saucer similar to the cappuccino. The foam art on this one was even better(see my photo). The flavor of this was really awesome and this was my first Coronado and it won’t be my last. They have food, craft beer and Wine also available but I will try those next visit. I can see this as a cool spot to hang out with friends night or day. Not a ton of tables and there are no comfy couches or anything to chill on. That’s my only complaint. I will definitely go back.

After a busy Sunday and with more things to do, my family and I needed a pick me up. We drove by Bar Bazaar and just by the beautiful exterior of the restaurant, we wanted to come in and try it out. I read a few positive reviews from some of my fellow Unilocal friends and decided to try it out. We walked in to a really hip, modern looking establishment. Not something you would expect to see on Bay Area Boulevard. I was impressed even before trying the food. We were looking for dessert and drinks, but they have a pretty nice menu with plenty of other options. I ordered a Vanilla Chill, which is basically a vanilla frappé. It was delicious, not too sweet, just how I like it. I also ordered the Chocolate Bread pudding. The bread reminded me of a croissant and it was warm and crispy, not like a tradional custardy bread pudding. It had white chocolate and was accompanied by one of the best caramel sauces I’ve ever tried. My whole family took more than one taste of my dessert. My wife ordered a Chai tea, which was tasty. You could smell the fragrant spices from a few tables over! She also ordered the Nutella Crêpe with bananas. Not the best I’ve had, but tasty nonetheless. My son ordered a hand crafted ginger ale and a brownie. Wierd combination, but separately, delicious. My daughter ordered a vanilla cappuccino and a red velvet macaroon. The macaroon was amazing. A little bit overpriced for a tiny dessert, but amazing. We enjoyed the atmosphere and everything we tried. It’s a nice change from our usual dessert and coffee spots. We want to come back and try some of their savory crepes and sandwiches!

We had our first visit to Barbazzar yesterday. First of all, the exterior and interior renovations they have done are awesome. The vibe is amazing, very inspiring, very chill. I had read some great reviews and I’ve been meaning to try it for awhile. Looking at the menu board when you first walk in, their food choices and prices for what you get are FABULOUS! My boyfriend ordered the smoked salmon sandwich. It was very refreshing with crisp, light flavors. I got the grilled cheese which came with a bacon tomato spread. It was DELISH! The cheese was so melts and just oozing out of it. You have your choice of either chips or potato salad. We both got the potato salad which was very yummy(it has some green olives in it I think.) We both ordered cappuccinos(which come in a beautiful real mug for $ 3.00 each. And drank ice water(which sits in a glorious sterling silver wedding like dispenser.) They also have beer and wine on TAP! If you haven’t tried it, do. The place is worth every penny and very reasonably priced in my humble opinion. I had my heart set on a Nutella crêpe with bananas but by the time we left, we both were stuffed! Next time. Customer service was awesome and they also have a rewards program. Their music selection is very on point. Very on point. I have some new songs on my iPhone now because of Barbazzar. The only thing that hopefully they will begin to carry is soup(my vote is Italian meatball wedding soup, or a creamy tomato basil)… But other than that small minor detail, it is my new favorite place for food, for coffee, for crepes, for everything. It’s my new favorite place. Oh, and they have free WIFI. BONUS!

Place was well done inside. Coffees were over prices compared to other shops in town that offer fresh local roasted beans. First impression was not good a dude leaning over the counter not really knowing the menu and not really wanting to be there. However the second trip was much better. The people r very nice. I am hoping the place stays busy however being a coffee snob I just don’t see myself visiting to often because the coffee prices r just too high. In town places which r much farther to drive are at least a buck cheaper across the board. It is the only place in clearlake that serves a real cappuccino. I am alway impressed when a place spends enough time and money to get the concept right. I am very impressed that the owner has since responded and really cares about his image. As I said before it is the only Place in clearlake that make a true cappuccino.

Been meaning to check out this place for a while now. It’s a pretty happening place when you walk inside. There are college students studying organic chemistry and younger kids getting desserts. The desserts are made in-house, and you can see a gorgeous display of them across the counter. You have the café staples like scones and muffins, but then there are macarons and tiramisu. YES. There is a variety of foods to try. We got the salmon crêpe and BLT, both of which I recommend. The coffee and tea lattes are really good here, and you can even get pouches of tea leaves + other Bb merch as gifts.

I absolutely love the atmosphere here! This place is very sleek, clean, and well put together. I came in during my lunch hour and it wasn’t too crowded. I was greeted by the girl at the counter and she was very helpful since it was my first time and I had plenty of questions. I ended up just grabbing a pre-made chicken salad out of the case and since the tiramisu was only $ 3 I ended up ordering one so I could try it. The chicken salad was a tad bland and seemed like something was missing but it wasn’t bad. The tiramisu was one of the best I’ve ever had. It was very creamy, fresh, and tasted homemade. I’m a coffee lover and I didn’t get to try out any espresso drinks since I was on lunch but I do plan to go back soon for that. The sandwiches are a little pricey and I’m unsure if I will try those but I’m sold on the environment and I’m glad to have this place in the area.

I am so glad that Clear Lake is finally getting some eclectic places to eat, drink and be merry at! Barbazzar is our newest addition to the area, offering smoothies, chocolate, espresso, and even breakfast and lunch! I have twice eaten here. The first time I had lunch. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, which is on ciabatta bread and has pesto and grape tomatoes. I like that the ciabatta bread wasn’t super heavy, since I would soon drift off in a carb coma! The sandwich was very tasty, but I could have done without the chips. Next time I will ask them for none because I felt bad for wasting most of them. The 2nd visit I had breakfast and ordered the breakfast taquito. I have to admit that I really enjoyed this more than I did the lunch! The taquito has scrambled egg and I got ham on it. It comes with a side of really tasty salsa, too. I think my only complaint here is that they didn’t offer egg whites, so I had to actually eat whole egg which I never do. But I am willing to overlook this. ;) We will continue to come back here and support them so that they don’t go away!
