It’s been YEARSSSSS since I’ve stepped foot in this Burlington and it’s always been a hit or miss. I used to come here years ago for shoes because you could find some good brands at discounted prices and the home décor department was always good with great prices as well. I stopped shopping here because the store was so badly kept and checking out was a pain.
I’m in the process of redecorating one of my bathrooms and I remembered how much I liked their home décor so a few days ago I decided to pop in. It seems they have rearranged the store and have tried to better organize it but the shoe department has gone downhill. It also seems that they still don’t have enough cashiers on staff. The home interior section is still consistent so I probably will only be shopping here for my decorating needs.

What a bummer. Two years ago I came here with my mom and found a dress to welcome my husband home from deployment in. Yesterday I went back for the same purpose– with really different results. As soon as we walked in we were hit with the smell. Seriously. It smelled like a public bathroom. The racks were extremely bare– maybe because everything was on the ground. It felt like a ross but so much worse. Every now and then a Calvin Klein dress would be in the racks, hidden amongst the trash. But I can’t pay 60 dollars for a dress from a restroom scented warehouse. As we left we decided to swing through housewares and take a gander at the broken statues and creepy oversized Buddha heads. Never stopped walking. As we left the building I snapped a pic for your enjoyment of the gated up windows and trash littered floor. You can almost imagine the pungent aroma when you see it. As we walked out the door my mom said ‘it stunk like urine in there.’ Yes. Yes mom it did.

If I could give less than one I would! Big store. No coats, but that’s not the problem. They had three registers open and a line at two. So we go to the register with one person. The cashier says we have to get a the end of the line pointing to the other register. I ask, why is there one line for two registers? The cashiers says cause that’s the way they set it. The customers. Mumbles from the customers, no we didn’t. Obviously she just didn’t want to work.

Tell me why this Burlington is huge and there’s nothing in there? They have lots of shoes but I must have had a different taste since they didn’t have anything I liked. Luckily my sister is into short heels so I got three pairs for her. Yay. Anyway a lesson learnt. All that glitters is not gold. Just because it looks fancy when you drive by doesn’t mean it is stocked up with things. You’ll like.

I came by this place a couple times! It’s really big but organized!
I bought a pair of boots that I really liked from here!
There was an issue though. My uncle complained about the bathrooms being terribly maintained and did try telling several of the employees but most didn’t seem to care too much another said she will check it out.
I didn’t see the washrooms for myself so I won’t count it my rating but I will include it. I will also consider the staff’s actions/​attitudes towards the issue since I saw that.

This Burlington is Huge, but I’ve never bought clothes here. I feel that the materials are mostly bad quality, so don’t expect to buy long lasting clothes here. I did buy some jewelry last time I was there. I also love their shoe department. But, overall I was not impressed. It’s pretty hard to find people who work there for help… may be too big for it’s own good.

One star for pricing. Will never shop at that burlingtons again. Dressing rooms were nasty… gum all over one of the doors, full of clothes, no one even working it. Took my youngest to the restroom… a truck stop would have been cleaner. Too filthy to write about. Ladies dept was clean and straight however. Found a few blouses… then spent 20 min attempting to check out. Only 2 patrons ahead of me, one girl working, three standing around talking. Ridiculous ! Would rather pay full price.

Very well organized and managed. Store is clean and departments are maintained. I will continue to shop at this Burlington versus your new one at Almeda Mall.
