My sister’s husband got a gift card from work for this location. I had never been before so I tagged along and was very impressed with their swift processing of a large amount of people on Christmas eve. I would highly recommend this location to anyone on a holiday. The line was out the door and down the street but they had 2 employees working each register. While one employee was helping a customer pick out their ham the other would be ring out a customer. It was a very smooth and quickly moving line. We weren’t there more than 15 minutes and from the line I expected to stand there an hour.

When it’s Christmas or Thanksgiving time everyone wants ham. I do remember eating this good tasty brown-sugared ham as a kid. but thankfully it wasn’t for me. This location is good for its quick service, nice friendly young staff and the aromatic smell. Also, it’s clean on the inside. I remember coming here back in 2014 with my mum and having to wait in line, but the line went by with the quickness. The pricing is all good and affordable too.

Quick and fast checkout. Yes, there is sometimes a line, but there is several checkout stations. It’s not a pick-up by name operation you just choose a size ham and pay. The cashier will show you how the ham looks before paying kinda of like at Pizza Hut. I didn’t realize this store carries other products such as desserts, side dishes, and rolls. I guess I figured Honey Baked Ham a ham only store.. Nope. Great location my only complaint is the parking lot does not have any markings of up or downs directing car whether to go up or down in the parking lot. Lots of angry drivers in a narrow lot.

Pretty much every Wednesday before Thanksgiving and maybe some Christmas Eves, I like to spend a little time bonding in line with other ham lovers.(I’ve checked my Foursquare, so I know that statement is accurate) I usually make reservations online to reserve a ham, really it’s to help them estimate how many people are coming. For holidays, they usually open an hour earlier but the line will(and has) reached down the shopping center sidewalk all the way to Food Town. So yes, coming early will help. I’ve come early and been ~20th in line and other times I’m like the 100th so you’ve been warned. If you’ve never tried their ham, sides, what-have-you please don’t do it during holiday season. Everyone(including the workers) will frown at you if you umm-hee-haw your way through your order. Order and go, order and go. We actually have tried some sides, but they really aren’t memorable so unless you are a last-minute risk taker or victim of a holiday kitchen disaster they can be skipped. Have yet to try their desserts though.
