I honestly didn’t want to log on Unilocal!and bash Mark’s which is why I submitted my complaint almost two weeks ago and gave them the chance to rectify it and they didn’t. I don’t want free pizza or anything but I submitted a legitimate complaint on their website with this specific store and two weeks later absolutely no response from management. If you are 100% dissatisfied with your meal(Fish Fry Dinner) and you express your dissatisfaction directly after you would think management would give some sort of an apology or maybe even offer to recook your $ 13 meal but apparently not this Mark’s. Let me just start by saying that I understand this is a pizza place but have never gotten anything but quality from Mark’s so I figured I would try the fish fry dinner and on some real shit I wish I never made that mistake. DOYOURSELF A FAVORANDNEVERORDERTHEFISHDINNER from here it was absolute mush with the tiniest piece of fish under a layer of a crispy coating and 6 inches of disgusting mush. It’s hard to even describe how shitty this fried fish really was and I understand we are all human maybe I got a bad batch but considering I informed them of their disgusting meal and they neglected to reach out or rectify the situation is why I’m writing this negative review in the first place. I went to their customer feedback page online hoping they would listen to my feedback and make me a happy customer once again but they straight up said we don’t give a fuck yo. Coming from a background in the food service industry the very first thing you learn is how to handle these types of situations and unless the customer is trying to cheat the system which I most certainly am not you fix it and earn a repeat customer, it’s simple customer service. Evidently Mark’s doesn’t strive to keep their loyal customers happy because I have probably spent $ 5,000 in my lifetime on Mark’s and the time they served me the worst meal of my life they run and hide. What can you expect from a place that charges you $.75 for an extra side of ketchup with your order. I’m sorry but that is the most ridiculous up charge I have ever heard of considering the extreme low cost of wholesale ketchup. I could understand charging for a side of blue cheese but honestly a dollar for a tiny cup of ketchup? Get your priorities straight and if you serve a shit meal take care of that customer who could potentially spend a lot of money at your restaurant in the future. Unless I hear back from someone, I will not be ordering my pizza and wings from Mark’s. A little customer service goes a long way but evidently they have bigger fish to fry(astonishingly, no pun intended! I swear to God). End of one star shitty review.

This is by far the worse pizza I’ve ever had. Way too much bread and the sauce has no taste. Good pizza is hard to find in Rochester but this is the worse local pizza place by far.

The pizza is ok — the crust is a little too doughy for me — but there has been hair in my pizza TWICE. The first time it was a long dark hair tangled in a veggie pizza. Last night it was some kind of pet hair baked into the crust of a cheese pizza. It looked like it was from a long-haired dog. Stuff happens sometimes, which was why I got over it the first time, but I think we’re done ordering from Mark’s now.

That extra star goes out to late night delivery. I was in dire need of food and couldn’t bare to stand again after being on my feet for 12 hours. I needed a meal and it had to be pizza. No one nearby was open or delivering after 10pm. But Mark’s was! I actually went through the whole ordering process online — took a little extra time to set up my profile, but convenient nonetheless. The pizza wasn’t good, it wasn’t bad. It fulfilled the craving so I’m thankful for that. The hot sauce was a little sweet, which was not a good combo with savory bites of chicken and cheese. I like a little more crumbly bleu on my buff chick too. The crust was crispy and not too thick, which I prefer. I’ll probably be calling you again Mark’s, but just for late night delivery.

Marks is our favorite place to get pizza in Rochester. Their dough is yeast based and they don’t skimp on the toppings. Their wings are good, but we prefer the ones from McGregors or Charlie’s. Staff is very friendly and efficient, including their delivery, which is fairly quick. They have other Italian food on their menu, but we haven’t tried it… for us this is just a great pizza place!

Ok– so I reviewed Salvatore’s pizzeria in Webster and said it was my favorite… And I take it back because MARK’S PIZZAISMYNEWFAVORITE! I hadn’t had Mark’s pizza in probably 10 years and didn’t remember liking it much. But wow– I reeeeeeaaaaallly think they make a tasty pie! I want some right now! 2 locations in Webster make it convenient for everyone! Bay Rd. And Main Street. Definitely looking forward to returning! :-)

Great pizza! Great wings! Great service with a smile! Being from New Jersey, I’m a very picky pizza buyer. Mark’s is now the best pizza I’ve found in Rochester(beating out Salvatore’s). The crust is just the right thickness, not too thick, not too thin. Cheese & sauce are very good! And the wings were great! I’ll probably keep trying some other pizza places for research purposes, but Mark’s is definitely at the top of my list now. It is a little pricey. $ 29.95 for 1 large pepperoni and 20 wings. But you get what you pay for. They probably have coupons, but I didn’t have the time to find any.

I’m all about true Neapolitan pizza, the thin crust wood fired stuff that can only have certain toppings and follow strict guidelines. I’m not a snob, I’m half Italian, it’s in my blood. Somehow, I make an exception for Mark’s. Maybe because I grew up with it, or they laced some drugs into the flour, I don’t know. Sometimes when I’m up here for a visit I just crave Mark’s pizza. Is it the best? No, but there is some sort of allure that I cannot resist. It’s like a Frosty, or the apple pie at McDonalds, there is something about it that makes you crave it. I’ll always have a soft spot for this place.
