Starbucks

I decided to give this rating two stars due to the fact that I have mixed service every time I go and it’s usually depending on whether I’m going through drive-​thru or walk in or during busy and slow hours. I cannot recall a time where service was any higher than below average. I usually get a gruff and here’s your stuff. No friendly conversation or warm welcome. When I walk in, however, it’s a different experience! They are a lot more friendly. During busy hours, the staff look like chickens with their heads cut off and I can’t get a smile to save my life, and they are terribly slow. During non peak hours they are ok.
My boyfriend and I just went there this morning and drove-​thru. The partner who took our order got it wrong and made his drink with cream (which he asked for no cream since he is very lactose intolerant). When we asked to make sure it was no cream, they said yes of course and handed it to him. It wasn’t until he said he would get sick if it had cream in it did they decide to double check, and low and behold, it had cream in it.
Just needs more training I assume and more partners working.

Fantastic customer service! Erin was wonderful. She wanted to make sure I got what I wanted. I totally changed my mind at the last minute and she took very good care of me and was very pleasant! I got a passion fruit lemonade iced tea and it was wonderful!

Are you joking? Where would it be acceptable for any store to signal they are closing by turning off the lights and leaving their customers in the dark? Not to mention its dangerous to walk out in the dark but its plain rude and gives an awful end to the service experience. Could someone kindly inform the customers you are closing like they do at other locations? Whats up with Starbucks in Texas huh?

This will not be my favorite Starbucks. ½ n& ½ is free with coffee, but 2% is not?

Slow from being undermanned, so incredibly slow. Painfully slow. Standing here typing during non peak hours watching them not make the drinks for the people on the inside of the building. Slow

The absolute best Starbucks I have ever been to. I do a lot of my studying here as it is usually less crowded compared to the other Starbucks in the Clear Lake area. Hopefully it stays that way after this review, but I couldn’t help but share the magic that is this Starbucks. My boyfriend and I literally have deemed it «magic Starbucks of El Dorado.» Soon we’ll produce an Indiana Jones movie by that name, I swear. There are a fair amount of tables inside and out on the patio and the tables are big enough for me to have all my books and my laptop out without having to cast my boyfriend away to a separate table. There is a good amount of outlets for plugging in laptops and phones. If you can’t get one of the individual tables near an outlet, the community table in the middle has outlets on the table, so handy! I often see business groups have their meetings at that table so everyone can plug in. The front is kept impeccably clean and the bathrooms are spotless. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable, AND they honor the free gold card coffee and tea refills without giving me the stink eye! Hallelujah! Other Starbucks locations usually deny me or curse me to hell inside the deep dark recesses of where their heart used to be. They also sometimes hand out free samples of some of their baked goods, which is why I now realize that I am leveling up in basic bitch status and love their pumpkin scones. Lord almighty, is this where it starts? Am I going to have to start wearing Uggs and leggings now? Will my accessories for this fall be a Pumpkin Spice Frappucino after yoga, a small dog in a purse and taking daily selfies on instagram with #blessed for things that don’t really seem like a blessing? But forreals though, them pumpkin scones. Mmm. Like moist, delicious cake! And drinks are always consistent!

Staff is very friendly and helpful this far. I often come here to study and they probably just opened at this location about 3 months ago.
Drink quality is great, it should be. I only get iced coffee so it should never be wrong.
