Seriously, one of THE most sketchiest bars I’ve ever been to. It was no wonder there weren’t many people there… but we had hardly walked but one guy came from around the bar, paced around, came over to where we were, stood by us, then paced around and headed back to the other side of the bar. Not once, not twice, but three times. Same thing over and over. I wanted to ask him if he was coming down off the crack or what. We all hung onto our purses and wallets in case he was going for the grab. Then another guy came over to my nephew’s girlfriend and said — right out loud and into the next county — «Hey, that guy over there wants you to come talk to him.» Charming. Anyone could see that she was with my nephew, but hey, I guess it’s all fair when you don’t have a classy place to go to and can only hang out at this skanky dive. Just ick.

Wasn’t impressed by this place at all. We came on a Friday night. There was maybe 15 people there… Including the house band. We stood at the bar for 10 minutes before anyone said a single word to us and there was no one in front of us and no one else being served drinks. The girl and the guy behind the bar were just making chit chat. Finally the guy told us the bartender was in the bathroom and would be out to make our drinks for us soon. They had 3 pool tables and only one was being used. So we went up and asked for some pool sticks. They responded with«all of our pool sticks are broken.» How are you going to have pool tables but not have pool sticks? When we went back up to order another drink, the same girl that was behind the bar when we first got there who apparently couldn’t make our drinks the first time, was able to make them the 2nd time! How does that make sense? We ended up leaving by 11:30 and the place was still dead as it was when we first got there. I’m a mom of a 2 year old so I don’t get to get out much so this was a disappointment. The one good thing I can say is that they don’t allow smoking which is the only reason we didn’t walk down to the bar in the same strip as them.

Nice quiet bar to get a drink. Bartender is knowledgeable and quick getting drinks. Stage for local music and plenty of space

Not much to say. Half –a** staff. Some pool tables, darts, booths, some local band nights… Patio is nice.

I agree with other reviews. You have to get there during happy hour when Courtney is working. She is awesome! So before 8 for sure.

It’s a good bar with a good selection of beer. It’s usually kinda empty which i like cuz you don’t have a bunch of people bumping in to each other. Usually they have the tv on when it’s slow but you can always play your music on the jukebox if you prefer. They have two special nights a week that i know of: meaty Mondays when the owner makes burgers and grilled chicken. The food is really good but you got to call in your order before 5 or you might not get any. The other night is Wednesday with 50 cent wells. It gets packed so if your going make sure you get there early and get a bunch of drinks at a time cuz the lines get huge. All in all it’s a good place to chill and nock back a few cold ones, my favorite day is Sunday. The bartenders do seem to give some preference to their regulars but that’s all really something you see in any service industry wether you like to admit it or not. I would have to say it’s worth trying out. Just take two shots and ponder it in the morning!

Door guy is an a-hole. Wouldn’t let me in because it «isn’t the right day of the week for wearing sandles.» Wth? Apparently I can wear sandles in but not today. No band was playing, they weren’t very busy so I didn’t see the problem.

Nice bar with good drink specials. Go before 8 because the bartenders after 8 are the RUDESTBARTENDERS in all of Clear Lake! Too bad!

Great Friday evening drink specials. This place is a good size and and can accommodate groups of people. Large patio out back for the smokers and whatnot. They host open mics regularly and support lots of local acts. Solid neighborhood bar. My only complaint is them having a Boddington’s neon sign and not serving Boddington’s…

The beer selection is a lot better than it was a few months ago. More and better beer to choose from. Sweet!

I have been there a couple of times for the Saints game invited by friends. I was there last night Saturday and 5.25 for well drink is just too much. Plus the bartenders help all of the regulars before they help you regardless if you have been there long before anyone else. Then the bartender asked me to hand him empty bottles on the corner of the bar before he even took my drink order. I would not go there just to hang out. This place sucks which is sad because it is a great bar setup

Use to be Fins back in the day. They remodeled and looks decent inside with a large patio area outside. Always seems to be dead.

I had a great time here but really, it was more from the band and the company than from the place itself. But there wasn’t necessarily anything wrong with the place so I am a little torn on what to rate it. I doubt I would go back unless there was a band there I wanted to see… We came here to see The Raspas, a reggae group from Austin that I had seen before. I knew they would be fantastic as they always play a great show and play their hearts out no matter how many people are there. We got there about 8:30 as the band went on at 10. I figured we could have a few beers and enjoy before the music started, plus I wanted to make sure I got a table up close to the stage. No worries on that! When we got there, there was a total of maybe 5 people there. More people came in later, but it was never what you call busy. The domestic bottles are $ 3 which is typical, and the bartender was super sweet. They don’t do a pre-auth when you start a tab, so they keep your credit card. So, if you’re drinking a lot, remember to grab your card at the end of the night! They were showing the football game and they guys didn’t start playing until after it was over, which kinda sucked. I was there for music, not football. But I think I was in the minority; plus when they got ready to play the bartender came up and told them to keep the sound down. Um. What? You have live bands but you want them to keep the sound down? Luckily the sound system was pretty decent and of course the Raspas KILLED it! I really don’t know what kind of bar this is… it’s definitely not a reggae bar; they played 80’s country in between sets so maybe it’s more of a country bar? We talked to the guys in the band and they said it was a last minute gig and they were just happy to play together, so it worked out for them. I just felt so bad that nobody was really listening to them… which is sad because they are a REALLY great group! They do have a lot of TVs and they have the TV monitors at the bar which is cool; pool is $ 6 and hour which isn’t bad, and the bartender said darts are free. They have a few video games and a pinball machine. There is no smoking allowed which is why I gave an extra star; you have to go out back to smoke which is fine by me! It wasn’t a bad time; in fact it was a really good time, but since that was due to other factors than the place itself I doubt I will be back any time soon.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our visit. We were there on a Friday night, they have $ 1 drinks after 8. They weren’t really busy, which was fine with us. We tried Time out that’s in the same strip mall, but it gets way too crowded there. The bartender was really nice, it’s a laid back place. They have tons of tvs, pool tables and have bands on Saturday nights. There is also an outdoor patio. They do a free buffet on Sundays, we’ve been wanting to check them out for that but haven’t made it back yet. But we definitely will.

Bartenders are slow and rude, don’t know how to pour a Guinness! We came to see the Blaggards, who kicked much ass. But the dj tried to be louder than them, and I wanted a proper Guinness. Don’t think I’ll be back.

It’s a shopping strip bar in Webster… you can’t get much better than 2 stars in my opinion. I came here recently to watch a friend’s band(American Swindle) perform and the space works well for local bands. There are plenty of tables and booths, pool tables, dart boards and a large central bar. They have a large patio out back and the bar actually has some craft beers on tap… nice touch!
