this store is really convenient for someone who lives in Weed. it’s small but almost has everything you could be looking for. the prices are noticeably higher than any other store I’ve seen in this area. they don’t have many deals as well. however this is only grocery store in Weed, and so a major pro is the convenience. over all it’s a good store and has all of the necessities, but I wish the prices were lower, especially because a large amount of their customers are college students.

I went in for one thing and one thing only– I needed some«instant» coffee because our motel room didn’t have a coffee maker. Ray had one box of those Folger coffee bags(like tea bags) left on the shelf and I nabbed it. Yay for Ray.

Well with this rays you can count on dishonest employee’s who don’t know how to count money out and if you happened to give the cashier more than you thought you did you can count on them taking that extra money and putting it in their pockets. Over priced everything, better off taking your business else where! Way to go Rays Food Place in weed Ca. stick it to the customer’s that keep the business open! GOODJOB! !!!

The prices are what you would expect from the only grocery store in Weed, CA. The employees are friendly and helpful and they even have a little video store inside. They even carry some organic veggies, eggs and milk for those who are health conscious. Its not Safeway, but for a small town grocery store it does the job and does it well.

Cashier Michelle was not nice. Never want to go there again. I’m in shock from her customer service. I thought small town market like that size should have excellent customer service especially at cashier. It’s almost face of store right?

Alright, first the good.. . They’re close to Radiostar. They’re small and somewhat friendly. They rent movies. now the not-so-good.. . They’re small. really small. WAYYYYYYYY smaller than the ray’s in shasta. They’re expensive. .25 for a bag of ramen??? I don’t recall ever paying more than 10 cents a bag.. . eek. And when I was buying everything to make a cheesecake the girl ringing me up said«Oh, baking?» to which I replied in the voice that has earned me the title of gayest straight man alive«Oh yes, I was just sitting around my living room and thought, CHEESECAKENIGHT!!!» She was visible horrified and offended and from that moment on refused to speak to me or even make eye contact. Other than they they had food stuffs. If you give them money you can take said food stuffs with you. It’s a system that works pretty well, so I give it three stars.
