The Weed Store

Just stopped in during a road trip for the laughs, but it was probably the best encounter yet! The guy at the counter was very friendly and talkative and was genuinely interested in where we were traveling to/​from. Fun pit stop to stretch our legs and we’ll definitely stop in next time we’re up north!

The very second I saw the billboard for this store with the T-​shirt that says «I heart WEED», I knew we had to stop in. Even if you don’t smoke pot, the little kid in all of us will point and stupidly giggle at all the goofy products with the word weed on it. This place will definitely reawaken your inner five year old.
They have «I heart WEED» shirts and sweaters. «I heart WEED» coffee mugs and travel mugs. «I heart WEED» magnets, key chains, even stuffed animals. Bumper stickers, temporary tattoos, pens, pencils, and pretty much anything you can think of they have an «I heart WEED» on.
Stacy was the gentleman running the register. His personality and humor totally fit in with the place. He was loud, and just obnoxious enough to keep you laughing.
There is something amazing about a town that can see the humor in their own name. The fact that this store exists shows that they are playing to what the people want. That’s not a bad thing, because people obviously love this store, and people will continue to love this store for the same reason I did. It’s fun.

Ok for a silly camera opportunity I pulled over and took photos under the weed signs hilarious. They don’t sell weed here but the have great mechandise, I went in and I ended up buying some cool weed tshirts and shot glasses, stacey green the guy checking out my stuff at register is hilarious, if u are on a road trip on RT 5 in California heading up to Portland u must go here!

We stopped into town for some sh! ts and giggles and were recommended by some of the local firemen to check out The Weed Store. The owner was extremely friendly and was great about conversing and sharing stories with us. He is a local photographer and his work was beautiful. We took a picture with our car in front of the mural on the side of his store, before we even knew that he had taken that photo of Mt. Shasta himself. The store consists of anything with «Weed, CA» you can possibly imagine. Most are humorous and give you a good laugh, but there’s some great memorabilia as well. I enjoyed my trip through Weed. ^_^

A wonderful collection of t-​shirts and bric-​à-​brac featuring this lumber town’s history and beauty. I own no less than half a dozen of the high quality 100% cotton shirts with eye-​catching logos.

You gotta stop and venture into this store. It’s full of souvenirs playing off the town’s name, you’ll get kick out of it. The humor is all in good taste. The store is clean and well stocked with t-​shirts, mugs, keychains, etc. The various t-​shirts are of quality weight cotton. The gentlemen working the Saturday that I visited was quite engaging with all the customers. He had an outgoing personality which added to the shopping adventure.

I like them! Very welcoming. Very professional especially by the young lady who had just moved to Weed from San Francisco.

fun little store with all sorts of merchandise that makes a pun on the name of Weed. There’s everything you could ever want that says Weed, Ca. I figured I had to stop to take a quick peak and giggle along with everyone. Also, the mural on the outside of the building is beautiful.

Nicest staff ever! Had a small problem with getting charged twice for the same shirt. When I called them back I spoke with Kevin and he was very helpful. He offered to give us our money back or send us another shirt. We opted to get another shirt, they paid for shipping and it arrived in two days. Though I was already happy with everything at this point there were a couple of stickers shipped as well and a personal note from Kevin saying sorry for the mix up have a great day. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and we are. Being a manager for 4 years I am impressed to see this level of customer service. Thanks weed store, and kevin!

Most people don’t know that there’s an actually city called Weed. It’s fun to buy things that say i love weed and watch all the weird stares you get.

The city of Weed, CA I’m sure has heard it all. So much so that they simply had to have a store like this. If you like wordplay, and/​or you like weed, then you have to stop here. You can pick up all kinds of gear with «Weed» on them.
Only in California! ;)

From what we could tell when passing through, the town of Weed doesn’t have much going for it aside from having a really fun name. They’re going to take that fun name though and turn it into brisk business. If you happen by, drop in on the folks at the Weed Store and pick up your «Enjoy Weed» t-​shirts and «Got Weed?» coffee mugs! Every road trip should be remembered with at least one fun, cheesy souvenir!
